Read new chapter of Vienna Waltz THE Marat Safin fanfic.
Marat leaves it too late to talk to Emma then panics and runs, leaving the others to pick up the pieces. Adam confronts Catalina and decides he should make an important phone call. Meanwhile Andy has the worst date evr with Laura.

Emma gets a phone call in the middle of the night.
Marat is in a bad mood but at least a couple of people have a fun day planned.

Marat and Emma have some tense moments in Ch 243 of Vienna Waltz. How will it go? And will Emma stop a disastrous revelation?
Will Andy ever get to talk to Laura again - or has Nicky caused too much of a problem between them?
And what's happened at the hospital? Richie is in despair.

Emma seems to be putting it off as much as Marat! I think she knows he's about to tell her something terrible, it's pretty obvious from how he was acting. I'm really curious to read how Emma will react to his news when he finally owns up. So sorry I have once again neglected my fic. I have stuff written but I just need to complete the chapter. I'm hoping to release it soon. |

Hi Audrey Thanks for the comments. You sense exactly what I'm thinking with Emma and Marat - and I'm struggling to get the next chapter right. It's going to have to come out sometime and I'm still not sure how much of an explosion I can take  Also working on a couple of other bits of the story too - trying not to drop all the balls I'm juggling. Looking forward to catching yours when you get some time.  |

Wow Rebecca
That was a really good read. I was bummed at having to pull the story – but had no way of doing all the editing in time necessary to keep Game, Set and Love on the board. I think reading your sequel to the story may just have inspired me to find the time to do a tidy up and repost the Game, Set and Love – proboard approved cut.
You picked up a lot of the threads I had been going with – and although your story wasn’t exactly as I had planned mine – it was broadly in keeping. My plan had been that Therese would force herself to keep away from Richie because Jean-Claude was blackmailing her and that he was trying to get her to persuade Richie to throw matches for him – a betting scam. Knowing Richard would never go along with this, she decided to break it off. In the event – because of a run of bad form and other unfortunate incidents, it wouldn’t even have been a choice he was in a position to make or not make – the ultimate irony.
However I like your way of doing the story – and I also like the switch to a first person narrative – and the short sections moving the story quickly through the calendar. I always have a tendency to do the opposite and spend several chapters on just a couple of days. LOL
I also feel very flattered that you enjoyed my story – I’m assuming you did – enough to do a follow on. Thanks again for a really good read.

Feeling inspired by the way Rebecca wrote a sequel to my original Richard Gasquet fiction I am revising and editing to fit the requirements of the board so that readers can refresh their memory of how Richie and Therese's paths keep crossing. Enjoy.  |
