It was Monday morning, and it was Jessica's first day of school at Stanford High School and Training Facility. It was a relatively new school and it only accepted students who were future 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation superstars or divas. It went from 10th grade to 12th grade and there were only so many spots for the new school year. Being the daughter of Eve Torres, she got accepted and couldn't be happier. This was the chance for her lifetime dreams to come true. She got up, took a quick shower, put on her Hollister tee, skinny jeans and purple Vans on, and was out the door. ( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=28427785) "Have a good day, sweetheart! I know you'll do great." Eve said as she hugged her daughter. "Thanks, Mom." Jessica said as she got out of the car and proceded inside. The hallways were filled with people, and they were talking about the summer, finding schedules, and getting to class. Through all the hustle and bustle, Jessica was lost and didn't know where to go. "Need help?" said a friendly voice. It was a girl, about Jess' age. "Uh...yeah. Just a little." Jess replied. "Come with me." The girl said as she pulled Jess from the crowds and towards a bulletin board. The bulletin board had names and what classes they were in. Jess found her name and it said: - Jessica Torres; FLOOR 2: World History (Rm. 211), Geometry (Rm. 206), Art (Rm. 200), Literature (Rm. 218), Biology (Rm. 207).
"Oh, cool. You're in the same classes as me. Except for Art." The girl said. "Really? That's cool." Jess shyly replied. "I'm Jenelle. Jenelle Cena, nice to meet ya." The girl said as she extended her hand. "You're Cena's kid?" Jess blurted out. "Yeah, big woop dee do..." Jenelle chuckled, "...and you are?" "OH! I'm Jessica. I'm Eve's daughter." Jess said as she shook Jenelle's hand. "Ah. I see. C'mon, I'll show you around." Janelle said, leading Jess around. The two girls were walking down the hall when Janelle felt someone elbow her back. She turned around to see who it was. "Argh! Deryn, you ass!" Jenelle yelled, holding her back, swatting at Deryn. "You love it." Deryn smiled. "Jess, this is my ass of a best friend, Deryn." Jenelle seethed, still holding her back. "Hi." Jess waved. "Oh hey, you're Eve's daughter, right? I've heard a lot about you." Deryn said. "Yeah. You? Who's your parents?" Jess asked. "My dad's Kofi Kingston. Got dat high-flying blood." Deryn smiled. "Nice!" Jess said as she gave him a high-five. "Ugh, clear the way. Princess is coming through." Jenelle said as she rolled her eyes. The doors to school abruptly opened as three girls in tank tops, mini skirts and louboutin platform pumps came walking through the hallways, flipping their hair with arrogance shining through. ( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=28427988) "Who are they?" Jess asked. "Alanna, Larissa, and Amberlyn. They call themselves New Legacy." Deryn said. " 'New Legacy?' " Jess asked, still confused. "Yeah. Alanna is Randy Orton's only child, 4th Generation Diva. Used to be friends with the bitch." Jenelle said, rolling her eyes again. "...and Larissa is Cody Rhodes' daughter, Amberlyn is Ted Jr's daughter, hence why they call themselves 'New Legacy'." Deryn continued. "They're so obnoxious. They act like they're better than everyone just because they have deep family roots." Jenelle asked, disgust clearly imminent. "At least they're..." said Deryn "Shit! We're late for History. C'mon newbie. I'll see you for lunch, Deryn." Jenelle said as she dragged Jess to Room 211. The two of them walked into a full classroom where people were talking, texting, and throwing paper airplanes around the room. "...where do we sit?" Jess wearily asked. "Over here, towards the back." Jenelle cooly said, taking a seat. "Got your typical nerds, goths, gangbangers, and..." Jenelle pointed out. Before Jenelle could finish her sentence, a group of guys walked in with letterman jackets and Jess was complete captivated by the tall, blond fade haircut, dimple-faced captain, full smile in place as he walked in. "...and your jocks." said Jenelle. "W-W-Who is that?" Jess shakily asked, pointing to the cute, blond captain. "Him? That's my brother. John III. Everyone calls him JJ though. Captain of the wrestling team, senior, cocky bastard. All ya need to know." Jenelle explained. "Wow." Jess said under her breath. "JENELLE! What's up my homegirl?" a guy from behind exclaimed, giving her a gang handshake. "Hey Ricardo!" Jenelle exclaimed back. "Who ya friend?" Ricardo asked. "I'm Jess. Nice to meet you." Jess said as put her hand forward. "Nice, shortie. I'm Ricardo G." he said as he shook her hand. "Ricardo over here is ReyRey's boy." Jenelle said as she tilted her head towards Ricardo. "Yep, yep. Hey J, you in shop this semester?" Ricardo asked, rocking back in his chair. "Naw man, I got put in Communcation and Promo Skills. Pssh." Jenelle replied, rolling her eyes. "Damn, you slackin' on yo promos, girl!" Ricardo teased, lightly hitting her back. "You should intro your boys to Jess over here, Card." Jenelle said. "Aiight. AYO! Over here!" Ricardo exclaimed, calling his friends from the other side of the room. "What's up?" The three boys exclaimed at the same time. "Jay over here got a new friend. Intro yoselves! Don't be rude, ay." Ricardo said. The white boy was the one to speak first. He had brownish-blond hair, a lip piercing, and hazel eyes. "I'm Jason Barrett." He firmly said in an accent mix of British and gangster, arms crossed in front of his chest. "I'm Carmelo, and that's my boy, Juan." Carmelo said as he pointed to Juan. "I think I can introduce myself, asshole." Juan scoffed. "I think someone woke up on the wrong side of the futon this morning." Carmelo loudly whispered to Jess. "Carmelo is Mark Henry's son and Juan is Rosa Mendes' boy. Del Rio is his stepdad." Jenelle said, looking at Jess. "Hey, class is starting but I'll talk you y'all later." Ricardo said as him and his friends made their way to their seats. "They seem nice....sort of." Jess chuckled. "I'm pretty cool with them, they like to build cars and do graffitti and shit like that." said Jenelle. Once class was over, everyone was in a haste to get out and made a beeline for the door. Jess got lost in the shuffle and ran into a hard chest. "Oops. Sorry there." The guy said. Jess looked up a bit and saw it was John Jr, smiling down at her. She froze. "Say something, stupid! Say anything!" Jess frantically thought. All she could do was stand there and awkwardly smile. "Right. I'll...uh, see you around then." JJ cooly said as he made his way out. Jess' hand made its way to her face and gave a loud smack as she walked out, feeling more embarrassed than ever. After 3 more periods passed, lunch time came, and Jess made her way into the packed lunchroom. She didn't see Jenelle or Deryn anywhere so she decided to sit down on nearby table and wait for them. "Ahem." said a snotty voice came from behind. "Can I help you?" Jess asked. Alanna snapped her fingers and pointed at Jess. "This is our table." Amberlyn rudely replied, putting empasis on "our". "Uh...I don't see your names on them." Jess replied. "Listen, if you don't move, Alanna here, is going to have to punt your face in." said Larissa "3 on 1? Now, that's not very fair. Go pick on someone who gives a f**k." Jess said, full of conviction. "I suggest you move, or i'm going to get angry. Trust me, sweetie, you won't like it when I get angry." Alanna said as she got in Jess' face. "...is there a problem here?" said Jenelle as she intervened between the two. "I don't know, is there?" asked Alanna. "You want your table? You can f**kin' have it." Jess said, angrily storming away. Jenelle ran into Deryn and they both went after Jessica to see if she was okay. She was sitting next to the lockers by the door to the lunch room. "Hey, you okay?" Jenelle asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just let her get to me." said Jess, leaning her head back against the lockers. "I'd say ignore the hoe, but that's just me." Jenelle said, taking a seat on the floor next to Jess. "How could you be friends with such a...bitch?" Jess seriously asked. "Oh, let me tell ya. She wasn't always like that." Jenelle chuckled. "What happened?" "Well, being that both our dads were best friends, we naturally became best friends. She was always so nice, then, this summer, she started ditching me for Larissa and Amberlyn, and BOOM. Someone flicked on the bitch switch." "Wow." "...but that doesn't change the fact that she is incredibly hot!" Deryn interjected. Jenelle and Jess both shot death glares at Deryn. "Ok, ok. I'll shut up." Deryn said as he went inside the lunchroom. Lunch ended, and all the kids went back to class, but while Jess was getting stuff from her locker, she was approached by a jock.... "Hey there." The boy smirked. "Hello..." Jenn said, raising an eyebrow. "You don't happen to have a boyfriend now, do you?" The boy said as he walked closer, placing his hand on the locker next to her head. "No...and i'm not looking." Jess wittily replied. "You know, my dad knows your mom pretty well. I think we should get together." He said, breathing in her ear. "Who the hell are you anyway?" asked Jess. "Excuse my lack of manners. Name's Erik. Erik Mizanin." said Erik, smirk in place. "Let me guess...you're 'awesome'?" said Jess sarcastically. "Naw, I'm not 'awesome'. I'm aaaaamazing." Erik winked. "Whatever. I'm not interested." Jess said as she pushed him out of her way. "Feisty. I like it!" Erik yelled as she walked away. Jess walked into her Art class, put down her bags, and sat at an easel. A familiar voice came closer, and it made Jess' stomach do backflips. "...Mind if I sit here?" JJ asked. "Uh...um...yeah. That's totally cool, hehe." Jess spurted out, barely able to form a sentence. "I see that you're friends with my sister. That's cool." JJ smiled as he picked his brush. "Yeah, hehe." said Jess, blushing. "I'm sorry for the way Alanna acted earlier, she can be a bit...aggressive." chuckled JJ, beginning to paint. "Oh, that? That was nothing." Jess replied. "Being the Viper's daughter, she has quite the bite." JJ laughed. Before Jess could say anything more, two identical boys came through the doors of the classroom, full swagger on display for all to see. They had ash brown short hair, white teeth and were pretty built. "Matthew! Keith! What's up?" JJ said as he got up from his easel and went over to the door. "Not much, just came back from Paris..." said Matthew. "...WITH THESE GUCCI SHOES!" Keith exclaimed, pointing at his shoes. "POW." They both said, high-fiving eachother. Jess looked on at the twin boys, they were cute, that was for sure. She tapped the person on her left to ask who they were. It was an older girl, she was dressed head to toe in black, had a nose ring and had a shaved head. "Hey, who are those two boys over there?" Jess asked. "Spoiled ass DiBiase twins, that's who." The girl replied. "As in, Ted DiBiase Jr.?" Jess questioned. "Yep. SPOILED. ASS. KIDS." The girl said, empasis on each word. "Thanks. What's your name? I didn't ask." Jess smiled. "Marcy Brooks. You?" "Jessica Torres." "Cool. That's my brother over there. We call him Doog." Marcy pointed to the similar dressed, bald-headed boy. "You guys are CM Punk's kids right?" said Jess "Yeah. Straight-edge for life." Marcy responded. Over towards the door, another guy came in, he had spiked jet black hair, was much darker than JJ or the twins and he had a strong Mexican accent. "Carlitos, my man." The twins both said as they slapped him on the back. "I got an 88 on my math test. It was my destiny." Carlos said, imitating his father. "Make way for Carlitos Del Rrrrio!" JJ said in his best Mexican accent. "Oh yeah, amigo. Senorita Alanna was looking for you, she said to meet her or something like that." said Carlos. "Que suave." said Matt, sounding as Anglo as ever. "Que rico." said Keith, mimicking his brother. "I better not keep her waiting then." JJ said as he put on his jacket and went out the door. Jess looked over to the door, and didn't see JJ there. She let out a disappointed sigh and continued painting for a couple more minutes until she really needed to pee. She got permission from her teacher and made her way towards the bathroom. Jess opened the door to the bathroom, and saw that the lights were off. She was about to turn them on until she heard noises. Noises that sounded like fumbled belt buckles, and heavy breathing. She wasn't sure who it was until she heard, "Mmm...that's funny, Johnnybear." the voice giggled. Jess immediately stepped out and closed the door behind her in disbelief. It couldn't be, could it?

First of all, I'd like to thank you all for the first 100+ reads on my first chapter. It means a lot. As for this chapter, this chapter has a new character and is building up for some juicy secrets in future chapters. Stay tuned! - The next morning, Jess got up, did her normal routine and went to school. She waited outside for Jenelle and Deryn to drive up since she showed up early. She was the first one there and she watched everyone drive up. It was amazing to see all the old superstars driving their kids to school. When Carlos and Juan drove up, how they fought was interesting because from what Jess had heard, ever since Rosa and Del Rio got married last year, it didn't seem like they got along too well. "Hey bro, don't touch me, don't look at me." Juan firmly stated while getting out of the car. "C'mon amigito, why can't we get along?" Carlos smirked, placing a hand on Juan's shoulder. "I said, don't f**king touch me!" Juan screamed as he harshly threw Carlos' arm off his shoulder and stormed off. Finally, from what seemed like forever, Jenelle and JJ drove up in the student parking lot. JJ drove a shiny sky blue Hummer and Jenelle rode in front passenger seat. She got down, got her bag and made her way towards Jessica. ( i153.photobucket.com/albums/s237/3bo0odi_66/fba7.jpg) "Hey there!" Jenelle said, slapping Jess' shoulder. "I gotta ask you something." said Jess. "Sure, what's up?" replied Jenelle "Is JJ dating Alanna?" Jess asked. "What's it to you?" Jenelle said, raising an eyebrow a bit. "Just wondering, cuz I heard them making out in the bathroom yesterday." "Ugh, really? That whore." Jenelle said, rolling her eyes. "So...are they?" "No, not 'officially'." Jenelle said, putting air quotes over 'officially'. "She uses him, throws him away, and when she needs him again, he comes crawling back. It disgusts me." "It's like friends with benefits then?" "Yeah, it's like that. I just think JJ deserves better than that sleazebag." Jenelle had to go to the nurse's office for History, since she messed up her wrist by punching a wall in her house yesterday. There was an empty seat next to her, until... "We really need to quit meeting like this." JJ said as he sat down, flashing those dimples as he smiled. It was true. He looked just like his father. "Yeah, hehe." Jess couldn't help but blush. "Aw, am I making you blush?" JJ chuckled, smile still intact. "Uh...no. I just have...naturally rosy cheeks!" Jess frantically said, turning her head away. "Of course." JJ replied, putting his earbuds in as class started. Half of the day came and went, before Jess knew it, it was already time for lunch. Jess, Deryn, and Jenelle went to go get their trays in line. "So, is your wrist okay?" Deryn asked. "Yeah, it's fine. Just a little bruised." said Jenelle. After they got their trays, they were walking over to their table when Jess accidently bumped into someone. He was tall, had ragged, Kurt Cobain-like hair and dressed in flannel. "Watch your feet, little girl." The guy glared. "Sorry?" Jess shyly replied "Whatever." The guy said, walking away until Deryn stopped him. "Hey man, the lady said sorry. Aren't you gonna accept it?" Deryn firmly said, stepping in front of the guy. "No. Now back up before I spear you into the next millenium." "You think I'm scared of you, Copeland?" "It's fine, Deryn. Really." Jess said, pushing him back a little. "The lady said it was fine." The guy said as he walked away. "Who was that?" Jess asked, after the guy had left. "Rod Copeland. Son of Edge." said Jenelle. "He's a douche." Deryn briefly stated as he took a seat and a bite of his apple. Over at the popular kids table... "I was like...'Daddy, why can't I get that Louie bag? It's so pretty.' and he was like, 'A, you don't need that bag.' and I was like 'Uh, yeah I do. Have you seen it? The buckle is gold-plated.'" Alanna said. "Duh, anything gold-plated is a necessity. It's like...the rules of life." Amberlyn said, laughing. "Tell me about it, although I like silver better than gold." said Larissa. "Ugh, silver? I like platinum waaay more, honey." Alanna said. "Hey ladies." JJ said as he walked up to the table. "Hey boo!" Alanna hopped up, hugging him tightly. "I wanted to ask you something..." JJ said, holding Alanna's hands. "...in private." "Babe, anything you can say to me, you can say in front my friends." said Alanna, pulling her hands away. "Alanna, did you want to be my date to homecoming?" JJ asked. "Duh." said Alanna as she pulled him forward and kissed him, wrapping her arms around his broad shoulders. "Awww." Larissa and Amberlyn both said. "Who are you guys going with?" JJ asked, arm over Alanna's shoulder. "I'm going with Keith...or Matthew. I'm not sure. I can never tell them apart!" said Larissa. "I'm going with Carlitos." Amberlyn said. "Cool, how about I'll pick you guys up and we'll go together?" said JJ. "Deal." said Amberlyn and Larissa. "We are so going to win homecoming king and queen this year." Alanna gushed, kissing JJ on the cheek. "But A...me and Carlos are running for homecoming king and queen this year." Amberlyn shyly retorted. "So? Drop out." Alanna glared. "Why can't I win this year though? I mean...you guys won last year." Amberlyn said, feeling a bit dejected. "Did your dad win 8+ WWE and World Championships? Was your dad the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history? No. I didn't think so." said Alanna, giving Amberlyn a Maryse hand. Lunch was over and Jess was walking to Geometry from the lunchroom when she was stopped by three familiar boys, again. "And we meet again." Erik said, smirk in full effect. "What do you want, Erik?" Jess asked, clearly annoyed. "We just want to talk to you, that's all." The twins said as they circled around Jess. "Ok, so talk." said Jess. "I think you should let me take you to the homecoming dance in two weeks." Erik bluntly stated, moving closer. "Uh, lemme think. NO." said Jess. "Do you not understand?" Matthew said. "Erik could have any girl he wants. You should feel honored and say yes." said Keith. "What part of 'I'm Not Interested' do you not get?!" said Jess. "I don't get rejected, but if you..." Erik said. "C'mon guys, leave the poor girl alone." JJ said as he came from behind. "Just consider my offer, pretty girl." Erik winked as him and the twins went to class. "Are you okay?" JJ asked. "Uh...yeah, yeah, i'm okay." Jess said, looking down. "Listen, you really shouldn't waste your time with someone like him, you deserve better." said JJ, tipping her head up and looking into her eyes. Jess couldn't breathe and needed to get away. She pulled away and walked to Geometry with her head down. Was he...jealous? She walked into Geometry, it felt like all the wind had been knocked out of her and she was out of breath. Did that really just happen, or was she just imagining that spark? Jenelle walked in and saw Jessica. She looked pale and had her head against the desk. "Hey, hey, what happened?" Jenelle said as she placed a hand on Jess' back. "Nothing. I'm fine." said Jess, lifting up her head and trying to put on a fake smile. "You don't look fine." Jenelle pointed out. "I will be....I hope." said Jess. Back in the principal's office, Mrs. Stephanie McMahon-Levesque welcomed a new student to Stanford High School and Training Facility. "Welcome to our faculity. Everything here is state-of-the-art and fully capable of molding and shaping the superstars and divas of tomorrow." Stephanie said with a smile. "I was reluctant to send him here. I wasn't sure if you would accept him since his father wasn't an entertainer, like myself." The tall, old man said. He was about 75 years of age, but still in surprisingly good shape. "Well, i'm sure he'll fit right in. Cooper, is it?" Stephanie asked. "Yeah. I got expelled from my last school and my parents kicked me out, so my grandpa decided to take me in." said Cooper, crossing his arms rebellously. He was a shorter boy, skinnier than most boys his age, and had orange hair with wire frame glasses. "Cooper, i'll have you know, we have a 0% tolerance policy here. I'd rather see you often to tell you about your good grades, than to expell you." Stephanie said, voice full of compassion but conviction. "Don't worry, you don't have to worry about me. I'll just come in, do my thing, and leave." Cooper firmly stated. "Glad to hear that. Here's your schedule. Your next class is Algebra I, so you better get to it! You have a five minute passing period." said Stephanie, handing his schedule over. Cooper stepped out from the office and walked down the wide halls to Algebra I, when he heard other kids coming out from their own classes. "Hey Erik! Look!" Matthew nudged. "Fresh meat!" Keith said, a wicked grin coming across his handsome features. "What do you say, boys? Let's welcome the little guy!" Erik yelled, running over to Cooper. Erik was the first to run up to Cooper and push him harshly against the lockers. "Welcome to SHS!" Erik snickered as he ran by. Matthew and Keith were next. Matthew pushed Cooper back into the lockers when he bounced back from the first attack. "Yeah, WELCOME!" Matthew yelled as he too, ran by. Right when Cooper shook off Matthew's attack, he was pushed back into the lockers by Keith. This was getting irritating. "BITCH!" yelled Keith as he joined Erik and Matthew in their next classroom. Jess came out from her Geometry class and saw Cooper slumped over the lockers, looking exasperated and defeated. She walked over to him. "Hey there, are you ok?" Jess said, putting a light hand on his shoulder. "No, those neanderthals just pushed me into the lockers. Not once, not twice, THREE TIMES, and i've only been here for one day!" Cooper huffed. "I'm sorry, they can be a little mean at times. I'm Jess." Jess smiled, extending her hand. "Cooper." Cooper smiled back, shaking her hand. "Uh, I see you have Algebra I next. It's in Room 200. Right over there." Jess pointed to the nearby door. "Thanks! I'll s-s-see you around then?" Cooper stammered. He had just noticed. Jess was the prettiest girl he'd ever talken to before. "Sure! You can sit with us at lunch if you'd like." Jess said as she walked off. "Bye!" Cooper waved enthusiasticly. Cooper wasn't sure, but he was drawn to Jess. Really drawn.

Chapter 3:Once Jess got home from school, she saw a note on the fridge that said: "Jess, I have a couple autograph signings, a photoshoot and a business dinner tonight. Won't be home until late. There's food in the fridge & $50 for takeout on the counter. Love ya, Mom." " Another night alone..." Jess thought. " ...lovely." Jess went up to her pink-and-yellow striped room, and plopped on the bed, landing face first onto her pillow. She laid there for a couple of minutes until she heard her ringtone of "What's My Name?" by Rihanna. "Hello?" Jess answered. "Jess! Whatcha doin'?" Jenelle said. "Not much, laying here, staring into space." Jess chuckled. "You should come over. My dad said it was cool." said Jenelle. "I don't know where you live, though." Jess said. "Well, i'll tell you, duh." Jenelle sarcastically replied. After Jenelle gave her the directions to her house, Jess grabbed her phone, lip gloss, and silver helmet and headed outside to her waiting silver Vespa. She started it and went on her way. In about 10 minutes, she pulled up to a huge estate. Jenelle's house was about 5 times bigger than her own home. She pushed the button on the gate, and Jenelle buzzed her in. "Jess, you made it!" Jenelle said as she opened the door and let Jess in. "Wow, your house is HUGE." Jess said as she looked around in awe. "It's alright, I guess." Jenelle chuckled. "Who's here?" JJ said as he came in from the kitchen with no shirt and blue basketball shorts. Jess couldn't help but stare at JJ's chest, he was muscular, but not bulky. He was lean, but not skinny. He was sculpted, but not scary looking. He was definitely something. "You know, if you took a picture, it would last longer." JJ teased, tapping Jess' shoulder lightly as he walked passed her. "Huh? Oh, hehe." Jess blushed, knowing she had been caught. "C'mon, let's go before you get my floor all full of drool." said Jenelle, opening a door underneath the stairs. Jess was speechless, mostly due to the fact that she had been caught staring at JJ, but Jenelle's room was nice. It was basement-like, so it was very spacious. The walls were painted with a light lavender, and there were twinkle-lights hung up everywhere, so there was no need for bulky lamps. "This...is nice, Jenelle." Jess said as she looked around, taking a seat on a furry purple couch. "This isn't even the best part..." Jenelle smiled as she walked toward the far right of the room and opened up two huge french-style doors, revealing a massive walk-in closet. "Oh. My. Gosh." Jess said, finding loss of words again at the large closet. "Isn't it amazing?" said Jenelle. "It's just... WOW!" Jess smiled. "Wanna watch some TV?" Jenelle asked. "Yeah, what's on?" Jess replied. "Hmm, let's see...we have music videos, horror movies, and preschool programming. Your pick." said Jenelle. "Um, the horror movie, I guess." said Jess, hesitation in her voice. "Is it cool if I invite John to come watch? You think you can control yourself?" Jenelle teased. "Shut up! It doesn't matter, I don't care." said Jess, rolling her eyes. "Jess, the tension between you and him is so thick, it puts a milkshake to shame. Don't lie. I know you like him." Jenelle said, continuing the teasing. "Maybe I do...that doesn't change things. Go ahead and invite him, see if I care." Jess scoffed. "I bet you can't go 10 minutes without blushing. $20 bucks." said Jenelle. "Uh, no." "Why not? Can't do it?" "No...I just don't have, uh, money." "Sure pal, sure." "I'm serious!" Jenelle stuck her tongue out at Jess and went up to ask JJ if he wanted to join them in watching the horror movie, " Bloody Bride's Revenge VI". Jenelle returned with her brother (with a shirt on this time) and they all sat on the furry couch while waiting for the movie to come on. Jenelle was sitting on the left, JJ was sitting on the right and Jess was in the middle. "Have you seen this movie before?" JJ asked. "No, I don't really watch that much horror movies. They kind of scare me." Jess shyly replied. "Why? It's not like they're real anyway." JJ said. "It's still scary." said Jess. "Shhh, children. The movie is starting." Jenelle said. Towards the end of the movie, Jess was covering her eyes, and unconsciously clinging onto JJ while Jenelle was screaming "Don't open the door!". "And she opens it anyway. Stupid hoe." Jenelle said, rolling her eyes with her arms crossed. "The movie is over, Jess. You can let go now." said JJ. "Oh, right. Hehe." Jess said, letting go. "Is Dad gonna even answer the phone? Ugh, I'm gonna have to go get it, behave while i'm away kiddies." Jenelle said as she got up and left the room. Jess picked up the remote and turned it on to a fashion design show, content with her choice. "What makes you think I wanna watch this?" JJ teasingly scoffed. "Don't like, don't watch." Jess cheekily smiled. "Give me the remote, Jess, and I promise not to hurt you." JJ said, putting his hand forward. "How about...no?" Jess laughed. JJ reached for the remote to try and grab it from Jess' grasp, but Jess reacted quickly and moved away. "Nope." Jess grinned mischeviously. "Give it!" JJ said as he picked her up and pinned her to the wall, their faces only inches away. Jess' heartbeat picked up rapidly, feeling his breath mingling with hers, her brown eyes looking into his green-ish blues. "Hey J..." Jenelle said, trailing off at the sight in front of her. "Alanna is on the phone for you..." "Um...okay. I'll, uh, be right there." JJ said, releasing his grip, feeling slightly awkward as he walked out. A couple awkward seconds went by... "So...what was that?" said Jenelle, breaking the silence. "That? That was nothing. We were just fighting over the remote." Jess said, her face flushed with embarrassment. "Oh yeah? It looked like a whole bunch more than just fighting over a remote." Jenelle teased. "Crap! It's already 10:15, I better get back home before my mom flips out." Jess said as she hugged Jenelle and quickly made her exit. The next morning, Jess woke up with an ingenious plan. She was so confused about JJ, because he was sending her mixed signals and she wanted to test it out to see if he felt the way she thought he did. She woke up, got dressed, and headed out the door with a strawberry cream cheese bagel in tow. "Hey." Jess said, tapping Erik on the shoulder. "Why hello there, thought about my incredible offer yet?" Erik smirked. "I have, and I have an answer for you." Jess smiled. "Really? If it's a no, don't waste my time." Erik said, leaning against his locker. "It's not. I'm giving you a yes." replied Jess. "Good, i'll see you then." Erik winked. Jess saw JJ come in from the corner of her eye, leant forward, and kissed Erik on the cheek. "Bye." She winked back as she headed to History. JJ walked up to his locker, which was next to Erik's. He was obviously a little ticked off. "What's up, bro?" Erik asked. "What the hell was that?" JJ asked back. "What was what?" Erik asked, confused. "That thing! With Jess!" JJ retorted, hostility in his tone. "What's it matter?" Erik said. "Don't play dumb, Erik. She's a nice girl, and you're gonna end up hurting her. I know how you are, and I know how you work. Smash n' Dash, right?" JJ said, gathering his books. "Yeah, but what does that matter? You have Alanna, why are you worrying about who i'm smashing? Or gonna smash, rather." said Erik, devilish smirk on his face, leaning against his locker. "Whatever." JJ said as he slammed his locker and walked to class. In History Class, Jenelle and Jess were texting back and forth while listening to their lecture on how Germany was unified. "U n Erik, huh? ;P"
"How did u find out alrdy?"
"Word getz around fast. lol"
"Apparently so. lol"
"Why him though? He'z a self-centered ass."
"I don't have any other offers, lol."
"Tru, i've gotten one offer but im not sure."
"From who?"
"From Ricardo but i'm not sure if I wanna roll up to hmecomin in a beat up impala. lmao xD"
"LOL that wuld be kinda bad."
"I hope u kno if u r goin to hmecomin w/ Erik, ur gonna have to ride with Larissa, Alanna and all dem. "
"Ugh, rlly?"
"Yeah, they're all goin' 2gether."
"Lame."All the kids got out of class, and were passing through the hallways to get to their next subject. Meanwhile, in the school conference room...a meeting for homecoming committee is taking place. "So, any suggestions? We need themes people!" said Alanna "How about a Hawaiian paradise?" said Matthew. "...with hula skirts...and those coconut things!" said Keith. "Uh...no. We're in the middle of fall, are you freakin' stupid?" Alanna said, rejecting their answer. "How about..." Larissa said. "Is this the meeting for homecoming committee?" Jess interrupted, coming through the door. "Jess! Yeah, come right in." said JJ. "Are you serious? What can she possibly contribute? We'd be better without her." Alanna scoffed, crossing her arms. "C'mon, A..." said JJ, coming closer to whisper in her ear, putting his hand on her thigh. "...she might surprise you." Alanna gave him a smirk and brushed his face with her hand, then turning her attention to Jess. "What do you got, new girl?" Alanna asked. "Well, I was thinking we could do a halloween masquarade type deal. You know, costumes to hide our appearance?" Jess replied. "I'd be down for that, anyone else?" said JJ. "Everyone who likes new girl's idea, say 'I'." said Alanna. "I." The group said unanimously, except for Alanna. "Alright new girl, it's been decided. The theme for the homecoming dance will a halloween masquerade. Now let's talk decorations, and colors." Alanna said. From Jess' perspective, of course. An hour later, after the meeting was adjourned, Jess was walking to the lunchroom, when she heard footsteps coming up behind her. "Hey, great ideas today." JJ said, running to catch up with Jess. "Oh those? It was easy, I did it last year for homecoming at my old school and we had a ton of fun." Jess smiled. "So...you're going with Erik?" JJ asked. "Yeah. I mean, it's not like I have offers lining up at my door." Jess chuckled. "Why not?" said JJ. "What do you mean 'why not'?" asked Jess, slightly confused. "Well, you're, uh...you're really pretty, I don't understand why you wouldn't have offers like that coming in." JJ said, rubbing the back of his neck. Before Jess could respond, she heard Alanna calling JJ at the other end of the lunch room. "I gotta go, but i'll talk to you later." JJ smiled, putting a hand on Jess' shoulder for a second before he fled to his table in the lunchroom. " I swear, that boy is gonna be the death of me." Jess thought.

-- Chapter -- 4 --The weekend came quickly for Jess and she spent her Sunday morning sitting on her bed, painting her toenails, when an unexpected guest came knocking at her door. "Erik?" Jess said, surprised. "What are you doing here?" "I, uh, I brought you these." Erik said, revealing 6 water lillies hidden behind his back. "Oh. You didn't have to." Jess said, taking her gift. "But, I wanted to." said Erik, smiling sweetly. "Thank you." Jess said, smiling back. "Did you wanna possibly go out to a movie later...?" Erik asked. "That is if you're not busy..." "Uh...yeah." Jess said, taking a second to think. "I'd like that." "Cool. I'll see you around 7, then?" said Erik. "Count on it." Jess replied, closing the door. At the Cena household, we see something brewing. "Mmm...yeah, like that." Alanna breathed, kissing JJ below her. "Wait, A...hold on..." JJ said, trying to object, but quickly becoming overwhelmed. "What is it? You can tell me..." Alanna whispering, moving lower, biting his neck lightly. "This. This is a little bit...much." JJ gasped, Alanna finding that hypersensitive spot. Alanna released him and looked at him below her, giving him a wicked eyebrow. "What do you mean? We make out all the time. What's different?" Alanna asked. "It's just...I don't know." JJ pleaded, helplessness gleaming through his smaragd eyes. "Whatever. If you don't want me, I'll just go back to my hellhole of a home." Alanna said, getting off the bed and putting her shoes on. "You don't have to go...I know you've had a hard time with your parents fighting." JJ said as he sat up, putting a wifebeater on. "Do you know how frustrating it is to hear my mom question where my dad goes every single day?! All thanks to that..." Alanna said, raising her voice a little. "No, I don't, but i'm here for you. I'll always be here for you, A." JJ said as he got up off the bed and wrapped his arms around her. "I mean...she left! She left so long ago, so our family should have been ok by now." Alanna sniffled, burying her head into JJ's shoulder. "It'll be ok, I promise." JJ said as he hugged Alanna and brought her closer. "I should probably go anyway, got homecoming dresses and masks to buy. Later, loser." Alanna winked, pulling away and giving him a Maryse hand as she left. As Alanna opened the door to leave, Jenelle was coming in. A few seconds after she left, Jenelle sat next to her brother on his queen sized, Scarface bed. "Why do you let her treat you so badly? I'm mean, she just called you a loser! How can you--" Jenelle said. "Jen, you don't even know the whole story, and you don't even know what she goes through." JJ retorted, cutting her off. "Why do you always defend her?! After everything, after she ditched me! Why can't you ever defend me?" Jenelle cried, surprised at JJ's answer, standing up. "Unlike you, i'd actually get to know people like her before I make stupid ass judgements!" cried JJ, standing up as well and getting in her face. "Whatever! I see who's side you're on! I'll just tell Jess you're not interested, cuz you're too busy playing with your dumb bimbo Barbie!" Jenelle yelled as she stormed out of her brother's room and slammed the door. JJ just stood there in shock while huffing from anger. She wouldn't actually do that, would she? Jenelle was never much of a bluffer and JJ knew that all too well. Finally after calming down, JJ laid back on his bed, put his hands over his face and exhaled sharply. Meanwhile, a couple hours later, Jess was getting ready for her date with Erik. This was her first date since she came to this new school, and she was a touch bit nervous. Was it too much? She had tried on several outfits at least a couple times. She knew he was here when she heard talking coming from downstairs. "So, you're Mike's boy, huh?" Eve asked. "Yes, ma'am, yes I am." Erik said, smiling. "You look just like him. You have his eyes, and your mother's nose. You're very handsome." Eve complemented. "Thank you, Ms. Torres." Erik politely replied. "I remember you were so small when your parents got married! Now, you're all grown up, I feel so old." Eve sighed, going back into the kitchen. "Jess should be down soon, make yourself at home." Erik leaned against the doorframe of the front door when he was completely astounded by how Jess looked as she made her way down the stairs. "Jess...you look...amazing." Erik stammered, reaching forward to grab her hand. "Is it too much? I could go up and change." Jess nervously asked, grabbing his hand. "No, no. It's great, YOU look great." said Erik, correcting himself in the end. "Shall we?" Jess said, leading him outside and flashing him a smile. "Yes we shall." Erik smiled, going outside and opening the door of his car for her. Erik drove a nice, Candy Apple-painted Green Mustang with a black racing stripe falling along the center. The interior was with bright lime green leather seats and a black dashboard with console. ( bit.ly/eRPjZm) "This car is nice, Erik." Jess said as she put her seatbelt on. "I love it, this car is like my child." Erik said, rubbing the dashboard affectionately. "So, Mr. Amazing One, where are we off to?" Jess asked, lightness in her voice. "It's across town, but it's a pretty cool place. It's a bowling alley me and my dad used to go to. I think you'd like it." Erik replied, not taking his eyes off the road. "I was hearing you talk to my mom downstairs, who's your mom?" said Jess. "My mom? My mom's Maryse." Erik said, drumming his fingers along the wheel. "Wow, so both your parents are superstars? That's awesome." Jess gushed. "Not really, they weren't around much because they were travelling, but when they were around they were pretty cool. You could kind of say I was raised by my nannies." said Erik as he gave a quick shrug. "Oh, I'm sorry. That sounds horrible." said Jess, regretting she had said anything. "It's cool. Now that they aren't travelling as much, I see them more often. Mom even taught me some French." Erik smiled at Jess. "If it makes you feel any better, my father died before I was born, so I never knew him." Jess confessed, putting her head on Erik's shoulder. "Damn. How'd your mom take it?" "She was in denial at first, then she just learned to accept it. She hasn't dated anyone since though." "You haven't tried to hook her up?" Erik chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "Oh, TRUST ME. I've tried." Jess smiled, letting out a small laugh. "We're here." said Erik as he pulled up to a small bowling alley. Erik got out of the car then circled around to open the car door for Jess. He held her hand as they walked towards the entrance and he opened that door for her as well, letting her go in first. "Such a gentleman, you are." smiled Jess. "If you want, I'll go get your shoes and some drinks." Erik suggested. "Yeah, thank you." Jess said as she took a seat at their booth. "What's your size?" Erik asked. "6 women's." Jess smiled as Erik walked away. As Jess sat at their booth, she began to think, Maybe Erik isn't so bad after all, I think I kind of like him, maybe he's just misunderstood... She was snapped out of her thoughts when her phone vibrated and she got a text message from JJ. "Hey there, whats up? "
...
"Jst here @ the bowlin ally w/ Erik, u?"
...
"Ur w/ Erik? Y?"
...
"Becuz he ask'd if i want'd 2 come 2 the bowlin ally w/ him. Wats the deal?"
...
"Ugh, nvmind, I was just wondering if Jen had talked 2 u 2day." ...
"No, she hasnt, y?"He never replied. LISTEN! READ! JOY! "You ready to get your butt kicked?" Erik smirked as he came up with their shoes and drinks. "Oh yeah, you scared to get beaten by a girl?" Jess smirked back, leaning over to tie her shoes. "We'll see. I am the king of bowling." Erik said as he picked up his ball and prepared throw it. Jess just watched him with a curious fascination while he threw the ball down the lane. They played for a whole hour, laughing, teasing, and betting until they reached their final throw. Erik at 124 and Jess at 120, Jess was up. "Choke, choke, choke, choke." Erik whispered behind Jess. Jess looked back at him and gave him a glare, silencing him then threw the ball down the lane...and got a STRIKE! "Haha, in your face Mizanin!" Jess teased, pointing at Erik. "Fine, fine. You better not tell a soul, though! I'll kill you." Erik smirked as he led Jess outside and back to the car. "Thanks for everything, I really had fun." Jess smiled as she got in the car. "I did too. Trust me, this was way better than my last date." Erik chuckled as he started the car and peeled out of the driveway. "Who was your last date, if you don't mind me asking...?" Jess asked, putting a hand on Erik's thigh. "It was with Larissa, she complained that she broke her nail the whole time, so I didn't really enjoy myself." said Erik, placing his hand over Jess' hand and giving her a gentle glance. They exchanged soft glances and smiles while listening to music for a while until they reached their destination. "This is my place, I guess I'll see you later. Thanks again." Jess said as she shot him a smile. Those eyes, Jess thought. I could look at them all day.Erik put his hand on Jess' thigh, and looked at her. Without another thought, he reached forward and kissed her lightly. Jess pulled back immediately, shocked at his forwardness and blushing, but she decided to give into the moment and kissed him back. "...I should probably get back. Curfew, ya know?" Jess said, no louder than a whisper. "Right. I'll see you on Monday, pretty girl." Erik winked as Jess got out of the car. "Bye." Jess said. A few hours later, back at the Orton estate, it's around 2:14 in the morning, and trouble is afoot. "Where were you?! It's 2 in morning, Randy!" Sam yelled. "I was scouting, and had a few beers with the guys, is that so wrong?" Randy calmly said. "You always have 'a few beer with the guys'. That's what always happens." Sam scoffed. "What's that supposed to mean?" Randy asked. Sam's crypticness always made him angry. "Nothing, forget about it." Sam said, turning her back to Randy and walking away. "NO. TELL ME." Randy gritted his teeth, grabbing Sam's arm. "Let go! Randal Keith, let me go!" Sam yelled, slapping his hand. Upstairs, Alanna heard everything as her parents argued. It made her sad that her family couldn't be happy like it used to and there was nothing she could do to fix it. She grabbed her phone and called a familar number. "Hey, I know it's late, and I probably woke you up...but do you think I could stay the night at your house?" The person on the other line sleepily murmurred in agreement. "Yeah, they are. I'll meet you in 10." Alanna said as she hung up. She packed 3 outfits, her lipgloss, her curling iron and her phone. She wrote a note and left it on her bed. She took a deep breath as tears fell down her face, smearing her mascara all over. She wiped them and composed herself, then she opened her window and climbed down the ivy-covered ladder, making her way to her destination. 10 minutes later, she was buzzed in to the large estate and knocked on the door. "Hey, come in, come in." JJ said, opening the door. "Are you ok?" "No, not really, but I didn't have anywhere else to go." said Alanna, moisture clouding her eyes once again. "Come here." JJ said as he embraced her tightly. "J...I need...I need you to make me feel again." Alanna said as she looked into his eyes, on the very verge of sobbing her heart out. "What?" JJ asked. He had an idea of what Alanna was asking, but he wasn't totally sure. Alanna reached up and kissed him with passion, then she shot him a look of confidence, putting their foreheads together. JJ nodded in agreement, and quietly led her up to his room. He left smoldering kisses on her neck, eliciting moans of appreciation from her, before finally closing the door.

-- Chapter -- 5 --
Jenelle was still mad at JJ for their argument yesterday, but she needed her hairclip that she left in there. Hoping to avoid another conflict, she barged into JJ's room, but became speechless at the sight in front of her. There was Alanna, in her brother's room, with only his t-shirt on. Just what I like to see in morning, super freakin' fantastic, Jenelle thought. "I'll just, uh, come back later..." Jenelle said as she closed the door, still slightly in shock. Jenelle texted Jess at that very second as she got back to her room. "SCARRED FOR f**kING LIFE."
...
"lol y?"
...
"ill tell u l8r lmao"
Jess was wondering what it was, because nothing usually freaked out Jenelle. Not even midget porn. This must be something serious, Jess thought. She did her hair and waited for her ride to school. Erik had texted her when she woke up asking if he could give her a ride. Of course, she happily accepted after the great date they went on last night. It was actually good that he offered since her mother was busy packing for her trip to Chicago anyway. "How long are you going to be gone, Mom?" Jess asked. "Let's see, i'm leaving on Friday, and i'm coming back on Tuesday, so that's...5 days." Eve replied. "5 days? Why so long?" said Jess. "Well, first I have to get settled in, then I have to talk plans with Shane, and make my surprise visit on RAW. That'll take some time, Jess." Eve said, continuing to pack. "So, I'll be by myself?" Jess said. "You can stay with Jenelle, if you want, I'm sure they stay by themselves all the time." said Eve. "Fine. My ride's here anyway. See ya!" Jess said, kissing her mother on the cheek while she made her way out. Jess grabbed her bag and her phone and made her way outside where Erik was in the driver's seat, fixing his hair in the mirror. "Hey there, pretty boy." Jess nudged as she got in the car. "Hey there, pretty girl." Erik winked, backing out of the driveway and heading onto the highway. "How are you?" Jess asked, intertwining their fingers together. "Well..." Erik said, leaning forward for a quick kiss, "...better, now." "I'm good, thanks for asking." Jess blushed, looking down. "You're welcome." Erik smirked as he sped down the highway. "Are you ever humble?" Jess teased, shooting him a eyebrow. "What are you talking about? I'm as humble as a peacock." Erik smiled, taking off his sunglasses while pulling into the school parking lot. As luck would have it, JJ, Jenelle, and Alanna pulled up at the parking beside them. "Hey Jen!" Jess said as she waved Jenelle over, grabbing her bag from Erik's car. "Hey there, Miss Thang." Jenelle said, putting an extra twang on 'thang'. "I gotta make it to History on time, so I'll see you in there." Erik said as he gave a quick kiss to Jess and ran over to the classroom. "Ahem. Jess, you got some 'splanin to dooo." Jenelle teased, nudging Jess. "We went on ONE date last night, so what?" Jess shrugged. "Oh nothing..." Jenelle smirked mischeviously. "So what was that thing you were texting me about earlier this morning?" Jess asked "It was literally the worst thing I've ever seen in my life." Jenelle said. "Go on..." said Jess. "Alanna. Half-naked. In JJ's room." Jenelle said, with a look of horror on her face. "They didn't..." Jess trailed off. "Oh yeah. THEY DID." Jenelle said, disgust shining through. "Ew. Ew. EWH." Jess said as they walked inside their History classroom and sat down. "Exactly." Jenelle stated. "Where's Deryn?" Jess asked, looking around. "He got food poisoning from shellfish he ate this weekend. Nearly puked his kidney and a bag of chips." Jenelle chuckled. "Oh. I hope he gets better." Jess said. "He will. He's a tough mofo." Jenelle said, putting her earbuds in while class got started. After getting out of History, Jess saw that Cooper was waiting for her by her locker. "Hey there." Cooper shyly approached. "Hey Cooper, how's it going?" Jess said with a smile as she put her books inside her locker. "I was...I was wondering...if you p-p-possibly wanted to join the debate team, i'm joining and I'd, um, think you'd like it, ya know?" Cooper stammered out. "I don't really think debate is my thing, sorry, but I'll be an alternate, if you need one." Jess said, grabbing her other books and shutting her locker. "Oh, ok. Thanks. That's-That's totally cool." Cooper said, unable to find appropriate wording. "I'll see ya, Geometry's calling." Jess said, patting him on the back as she walked away. Cooper took a deep, dreamy sigh as Jess walked away, making his way in the opposite direction to the boys' restroom. As soon as he walked in, he heard someone come in from behind and that person forcefully pressed him against the wall, placing their forearm harshly on his throat. "You creepin' on my girl, boy?" Erik gritted his teeth at Cooper, pushing his forearm harder. "I...didn't...know..." Cooper said, gasping for breath. "Now you know, nerd. Back off my lady, and I'll back off of you. Deal?" Erik said with complete conviction and no smirk. Cooper remained silent. "DEAL?!" Erik angrily stated, pressing harder, making Cooper's face turn red. Cooper continued remaining silent, despite obvious lack of oxygen. "I didn't wanna do this the hard way, but you leave me no choice, little man." Erik said, releasing his grip, gaining a sigh of relief from Cooper, until he drawed back and punched him in the stomach. Cooper fell to floor, clutching his stomach tightly, with slight tears forming around his eyes. "I catch you around my girl again, there will be more than that coming your way." said Erik, walking out of the restroom. In the gym, after lunch, tryouts are being held. "Listen up, newbies, vets, in-betweens, we are looking for talent." Alanna paced around slowly, clipboard in hand. " T-A-L-E-N-T." Larissa added. "We need the best of the best. If you do have enough skills to join our squad, it looks great on an application to go to, let's say, FCW." Alanna said, continuing to pace. "Let's get into our uniforms and get started!" Amberlyn clapped, motioning toward the locker room. Alanna and Larissa fit into their uniforms from last year, but Amberlyn seemed to be having difficulties. "I don't understand! I fit perfectly last year!" Amberlyn grunted as she desprately tried fitting the top over her head. "Um..." Larissa awkwardly said. "Um what?" Amberlyn asked, fear filling her voice. "You kind of wear the biggest size we have Am." said Larissa, shrugging. "Try losing a few pounds, that should help." Alanna said as she passed by and walked back into the gym. "Did she just call me... fat?" Amberlyn asked in shock. "I don't think so. I think she was giving you a suggestion!" Larissa said, trying to cushion the blow as she too, walked out into the gym. While tryouts were going on in the gym, there were still some kids in class. Jess and Erik were texting back and forth, with some plans getting made for homecoming weekend. "So, ur guna be all alone dis weekend? "
...
"Yea, my moms not guna be here til Tues."
...
"We should hav a party @ ur house."
...
"RU Crazy? My mom wuld kill me."
...
"She won't have to know. I'll even bring da booze. "
...
"I stil dont kno..."
...
"U dont hav to. I jst thght it wuld b fun. But if u wanna be borin thats cool."
...
"IM NOT BORING!"
...
"Sure."
...
"Am I?"
...
"Kinda."
...
"Fine. ill prove u wrong. We'll hav the party. I'll sho u. I can be fun."
...
"I'll b sure to tell everyone. "From there, Erik texted Matthew, who texted Keith, who texted Carlos, who texted Amberlyn, who texted Alanna and Larissa, who texted JJ, who texted Jenelle, who came full-circle and texted Jess. Ur havin a party at your house?
...
Yep, be sure to be there.
...
I will. The matchup for homecoming would be the school's wrestling team against their sole rivals, Orlando Facilty for Sports Entertainment and Education. Or OFSEE, for short. The card for the matches were on the bulletin board outside of the lunchroom, it showed the following pairups: - John Cena III (12) vs. Carter Styles (12)
Erik Mizanin (12) vs. Roman Sabin (11)
Matthew DiBiase (11) vs. Derrick Hardy (11)
Keith DiBiase (11) vs. Ken Anderson Jr. (10)
Deryn Sarkodie-Mensah (12) vs. Logan Sky (9)
Carlos Del Rio (12) vs. Phillip Shelley (10)
Jason Barrett (10) vs. Daniel Angle (10)
Ricardo Guiterrez (11) vs. Nikolas Rayne (9)- "Want the low down on the competition?" Jenelle asked as her and Jess looked on the board. "Yeah." Jess said, still reading. "Carter Styles, captain of the OFSEE wrestling team, son of AJ Styles. Roman Sabin, son of Chris Sabin. Derrick Hardy, son of Jeff Hardy. Ken Anderson Jr, obviously Ken Anderson's son. Logan Sky, son of Velvet Sky. Phillip Shelley, son of Alex Shelley. Let's see, um, we have Daniel Angle, nephew of Kurt Angle, and finally...Nikolas Rayne, son of Madison Rayne." Jenelle said, listing them all top to bottom. "Wow, they sound good." Jess said as she finally took her eyes of the board. "Eh, they're ok, our team is better. Our team is mostly seniors with experience while their's is mostly freshman and sophmores." Jenelle said, walking to their next class. "Why is Deryn going up against a freshman?" Jess asked. "They're in the same weight class." Jenelle said, walking into Biology and taking a seat. "Oh, I see." Jess said, taking a seat by Jenelle. School was quickly dismissed after Biology and the kids were released from their classes. Erik was waiting for Jess by his car, letterman and cocky smirk in place. "Hey there." Jess said, walking up to him. "Ready to go?" Erik said, gesturing to the keys in his hand. "Of course." Jess smiled as she opened the passenger car door and got inside. Cooper glared at the gloriously shiny green car as it peeled out of the student parking lot, clenching his fists tightly, before becoming startled at the presence that came behind him. "You know, you don't have to take his shit." Rod said, tilting his head to the side. "What do you mean?" Cooper asked, pushing the frame of his glasses back. "You want some courage so you can stand up to that f**ker?" Rod asked back. "Yeah, i'll give anything." Cooper replied. "Come with me, I got the hookup." Rod said, leading behind the school.

- CHAPTER 6 -
It was Friday at 3:54 A.M. Inside Cooper's house, he was tripping out and "test driving" the new stuff he had bought from Rod. He had no idea what they were or what they would do to him, but he figured he trusted Rod enough. It turns out they were shrooms, but his grandfather was asleep and never came to check up on him anyway. "Whooooo!" Cooper exclaimed, jumping on his Star Wars sheets. "LOOK, I'M SO BRAAAAVE!" He began skipping through his small room aggressively, until he came upon the mirror by his television. He looked at it and a smirk came across his face. "I'M SO BIG AND TOUGH! I'M ON THE WRESTLING TEAM! I GET THE PRETTY GIRL, HAR HAR HAR!" Cooper said, doing his best Erik impression. He ran manically around his room, until 15 minutes later, he snuggled up to some laundry on the floor, and fell asleep. ----------------------- ------------------------- As the morning drug on...kids were getting up for school, and getting ready to start the day. "Right? I hope that the party isn't totally lame, you know I hate wasting my time." Alanna scoffed on the phone, with her curling iron in her other hand. The voice on the other end gleefully agreed and mumbled in reply. "Of course J is going! Well..." Alanna giggled. "...going with moi for sure." Putting the curling iron down, and beginning to apply lip gloss, Alanna said, "There's gonna be booze?" "Al! You're going to be late...AGAIN!" Sam screamed upstairs. "That's my plan, you know I HAVE to win homecoming AND prom queen this year, since I was rudely cheated at Prom last year." said Alanna, continuing her rant on her phone. "Alanna! If I get a call from Vice Principal Paul..." Sam said, crossing her arms. "Ugh, I know!" said Alanna, coming down the stairs, phone still in hand. "Just because she's having a party, doesn't mean we have to like her." "Have a good day sunshine, I love you." Sam said as she placed a small kiss on her cheek. In a flash, Alanna grabbed her purse and went out the door. ----------------------- ------------------------- At school, Jess, Jenelle, and JJ were there early so they decided to cruise the halls... "I haven't even found something to wear! I'm freaking out!" Jess said, moving her hands animatedly. "I'm sure you'll look fine whatever you wear." JJ smiled, putting his hand on the small of her back, making her involuntarily shiver. "Well, hehe, I hope so." Jess chuckled. "Hey kids! Check this out!" Jenelle said as she pointed to the bright poster on the wall. It was a bright lime green and pink poster with large letters saying: "Class Retreat: SIGN UP NOW!" "A retreat?" Jess said, puzzled. "Yeah, those are usually fun, when you bring...extracurriculars." Jenelle laughed. "Are you guys gonna go?" Jess asked. "I'd like to, but Al isn't really an 'outdoorsy' type of girl." JJ replied, kicking the wall lightly. "I'm probably not gonna go either. Damn shame." Jess also said. "Why not?" said Jess "The retreat is the same day as WrassleMania. It's like...bigger than everything else in our house, so I'll have to miss the retreat." Jenelle retorted. "Oh. I didn't know your dad had a match. I haven't been watching lately either..." Jess said, looking down. "It's one of those 'One More Match' type deals." JJ said, putting a hand on Jess' shoulder. "...but seriously John, how many 'One More Match'es has he had?!" Jenelle said as she crossed her arms roughly. "Wait...aren't you going to Wrestlemania, JJ?" Jess looked up and asked. "Uh, no. I don't usually go. It always starts problems where problems don't need to be started." JJ said, rolling his eyes, now leaning against the door of World History. "Oh...okay." Jess said as her heart dropped, wishing she never said anything. "Shit! I forgot my painting in Art! I'll be back, I have to go get it." Jenelle said, sprinting down the lengthy hallway. ----------------------- ------------------------- A few seconds went by... "J?" Jess said, looking up at him. "Yeah?" He replied, a small smile forming on his lips. "Did you mean it when you said that I'd look good in whatever I'd wear?" Jess said, playing punching his arm. "Of course I did. I wouldn't lie about stuff like that!" JJ smiled big, playfully punching back. "Some guys are just jerks and say stuff like that just to say it. So I was just wondering..." Jess smirked, leaning against him for a second. "You assume I'm a jerk? I'm offended." JJ said, sticking his tongue out. "Do you like me?" Jess asked as hand covered her mouth almost immediately. "What?" JJ asked, surprised at her boldness. "Nevermind..." Jess responded. "No, no...define like." JJ answered. "As friends...or...?" "Uh, well, you know..." Jess shyly replied. "Well, um..." He said, stopping them in the middle of the hall. "I think you're really pretty, and you're really nice, and if I wasn't with Alanna..." "If you weren't with Alanna?" Jess said, urging him to continue. JJ gave a small laugh, interwined his fingers with hers, then looked into her eyes and continued, "If I wasn't with Alanna, and YOU weren't with Erik, then yeah, I'd consider going out with you, because really, you're great. Erik is lucky to have someone like you because, you're sweet, and you care about things more than just your outfit or how much pounds you're gaining, but I personally think that you're too good for him. Guys like him only want one thing, and I don't think you deserve someone like him, you deserve way better, so in reality...YOU make sense...to me. I..." Jess just stood there, forgetting how to breathe, those big blue eyes of his boring into her soul, not knowing how to respond to all this information...until... "J! WHAT. THE. HELL. ARE YOU DOING?" Alanna exclaimed loudly, hand on her hip. "Alanna!" JJ cried out, quickly releasing Jess' hand and stepping back. "How-How long have you been standing there?" "Um, long enough. Walk me to class and I MIGHT forgive you." Alanna scoffed, rolling her eyes and forcefully placing out her hand. JJ quickly ran forward and grabbed her hand, walking away to the opposite end of the hall, before looking behind and mouthing the words "I'm sorry". Jenelle, as if on cue, ran up to Jess, and said, "I found my painting! It was all the way back in the storage room, can you believe that?" Jess didn't reply. She just stood there with her heart heavy and her feet planted to the ground. Not tearing her eyes from the direction in which he had left... "Jess? Are you okay?" Jenelle said, waving her hand in front of her face. Without any other thought, on the verge of breaking down, she ran into the bathroom with her hands covering her face. As those tears began to fall, she looked into the dingy mirror above her, and began to cry more. What could JJ possibly see in her? She was nothing compared to Alanna. She wasn't nearly as pretty, or as popular...or as skinny. She thought as she stared into the mirror. Turning behind her to get some tissue from one of the stalls, she heard someone. Someone else was in here, so Jess opened the handicapped stall at the far end and saw Amberlyn, on her knees, crying too, in front of the toilet. "Hey..." Jess said, offering a hand. "Are you okay? Are you sick?" Amberlyn rubbed the tears out of her eyes, and took Jess' hand. "Yeah, i'm fine. I just, uh...have the stomach flu." "Oh, well you should go home then, if you're sick!" Jess said, giving Amberlyn a sympathetic smile. "No, no. I just threw up, I'll be fine. Thanks." Amberlyn smiled back as she made her way out. Jess made her way after Amberlyn and went inside her World History class, hoping the puffiness of her eyes had went down. "Ms. Torres, you are tardy." The teacher said as Jess made her seat. "I'm sorry, sir." Jess said, opening her book to the page on the board. "Hey...what was that about earlier?" Jenelle whispered. "It's a long story..." Jess whispered back. "Tell me." "No. Not now." "Tell meeee." "No!" "Ms. Cena, Ms. Torres, I don't think Mr. DiBiase would appreciate your little gossip session while he's reading." The teacher sternly said. "I would recommend you quit before I separate you for the remainder of the semester." "YEAH, GUYS! I'M TRYING TO LEARN HERE!" Matthew snickered. Jenelle just rolled her eyes, and Jess went headfirst into her book. After what seemed like a lifetime, World History was over and Erik was waiting for Jess by her locker, which she had appropriately had his picture in. "Hey there, pretty girl." Erik said as he embraced her tightly. "Hi." She replied, holding onto him tightly. "I heard you were crying earlier this morning, are you okay?" He said, letting her go and tipping her head up. "I'm better now." Jess said as she gave a weak smile. "Your party is tonight! You should be excited!" Erik cried, bringing her close to him as they walked to Jess' next class. "You're right. I'm gonna let everything free tonight, I'm gonna have fun!" Jess cried back, turning towards him as they made their destination. "That's my Jess." Erik said, leaning forward and giving her a small kiss. "I got off-campus lunch privileges today, would milady care to join me?" "I'd love to. 12?" Jess smirked. "It's a date." Erik smirked back as he left and Jess went into her next class. As Erik made his way to his next class, he was pulled into a nearby abandoned classroom. "What the--Well, well, Alanna Orton, what have I done for this surprise?" He smirked. "Shut up and listen, Spiky." Alanna interrupted. "You're dating new girl, right?" "Yeah...why?" Erik asked, puzzled. "I'll get to that, but I see your little game you're playing with her. It's amusing." She smirked right back. "Why, I have no idea what you could be talking about." He said with a smirk of his own. "Seriously Mizanin, cut the crap. Hit it and quit it, right?" Alanna said as she pursed her lips together. "That's the plan." Erik laughed. "Didn't you play that exact game with Larissa, oh this summer?" Alanna asked, a questioning look appearing on her face. "I did, I got what I wanted, she's fine, everyone won." Erik said, stepping back, eyeing Alanna's frame. "That's because she's a slut, but that's not my point, I just wanted to tell you to keep playing your game as long as possible, because your "girl" has a little crush on my man and I have other things to worry about." Alanna firmly stated, pushing Erik back with her finger. "Alright, I'll do that for you..." Erik said, stepping closer, whispering in her ear. "If you do something for me." "Um, no. F**k you. I don't date creepers like you. I'm not asking you to, I'm telling you to." Alanna sharply retorted as she rose an eyebrow and pushed him away. "[glow=red,2,300]Feisty[/glow]. That's what i've always loved about you." Erik smirked. "Later, loser." She said, hitting him on the back as she walked out of the classroom. ----------------------- ------------------------- Jess walked into her classroom, there were no other seats except for one next to, one Rod Copeland. Jess groaned in disappointment and took her seat next to the plaid colored boy. "This seat is taken." Rod coldy said. "But...this is the only seat left." Jess said. "So? Get lost. I didn't say you could sit here." Rod scoffed, crossing his arms. Jess ignored Rod's snide comments and took a seat anyway, despite furious hesitation. Jess was trying to pay attention but Rod and other people she was sitting by were making it hard to concentrate. A few minutes later, her phone buzzed. " (1) New Txt Message From: Erik" "Watcha doin', pretty girl? "
...
"Trying to focus but this prick is making it hard for me. "
...
"Who? I'll kick his ass."
...
"No one important. You still coming to the party tonight?"
...
"Of course. I got the drinks and I got a special somethin' somethin' planned 4 us."
...
"Oh yeah? Like what?"
...
"It's a surprise. Haha."
...
"Okay, I'll see you later then?"
...
"For sure. "
While class was going on, Cooper barged through the doors of the school in a groggy mess. His hair wasn't groomed, his clothes were stained and ragged and his pupils were as large as saucers. "Jess?! Jess, where are you?" Cooper said as he screamed through the halls. He was frantically running through the halls, pulling at his hair. He became agitated in his searches. "DON'T MAKE ME COME FIND YOU! AGH, AH, COME OUT! WE'RE FRIENDS!" Cooper frantically said, almost pulling his hair out. "Cooper?" Jess said. She had just went for a quick trip to the bathroom and was making her back to class. "JESS!" He screamed as he flung himself toward her. "What's going on? What's wrong with you?" She said, concerned. "I missed you, my friend! MY BUDDY BUDDY FRIEND!" He replied, snuggling into her. "Stay here, okay." Jess said, briefly looking into his dilated eyes. Jess ran down the hall towards the entrance into the secretary's office, and returned with Mrs. Stephanie McMahon-Levesque. A couple minutes later... "What's wrong with him?" Jess asked. "He's having hallucinations, and he's extremely paranoid." She replied. "It seems he's taken some kind of hallucinogen." "Is he gonna be okay?" said Jess. "Yes, he'll be fine. I called the ambulance to take him to the hospital and I alerted his grandfather." Mrs. McMahon reassured. ----------------------- -------------------------
The time passed by and flew until the end of school was upon the students. "Hey!" Erik said, running to catch up with Jess. "Hey there." said Jess, bringing him closer and hugging him. "Are you okay?" Erik asked. "Today...has been so hectic, you don't even know." Jess sighed into his chest as they walked outside to Erik's car. "I'm sorry." Erik said, holding her tightly. "I think I could use a drink." Jess chuckled, getting in the car. "Girl, I got you covered." Erik winked. "So...what's the surprise?" Jess smiled as she buckled up. "Oh trust me, it'll make me VERY happy, and it'll be something you won't forget." Erik smirked as he drove off.

- Chapter 7 -There was spinning, and nausea along with the loud music drowning out the sounds of screaming and violence. How did she get here? She couldn’t see straight or walk straight for that matter. It was a dimly lit room. She suddenly became enveloped with this warmth, covering her and she felt what seemed to be arms wrapped around her, before she passed out… Earlier that day…“Hey Jess!” Jenelle called out below, throwing rocks at her window. It took a few more tries, but Jess was finally awakened. She groggily got out of bed, rubbing her eyes and wobbling over to the window. “Janelle…” Jess murmured loudly as she opened her window. “…It’s 8:30.” “So? Is your door open or should I go through the window?” said Jenelle. “The door’s open…” Jess yawned, stretching her arms above her head. A few quiet seconds later… “WE NEED TO GO SHOPPING!” Jenelle yelled, busting through Jess’ door. “Aaah!” Jess yelled back as she fell back onto her bed. “Oops, sorry.” said Jenelle. “Why do we need to go shopping?” “Because you’re having a party, and girl, you need a new outfit.” “I have clothes, I don’t need more!” “Plus, you need to get yourself all dolled up and pretty for my brother.” Jess shot Jenelle a wicked eyebrow and crossed her arms defiantly. “So are we?” Jenelle said with a cheeky grin. Jess just gave a death glare as she rose to her feet. ----------- ----------- In Larissa’s house, her room was decorated a pretty sky blue, with stuffed animals littering her queen-sized bed. Lady Gaga’s music filled the room and the large window allowed light to illuminate the entire room. “So, are you going to new girl’s party tonight, Am?” said Larissa, painting her toenails. “I don’t know…I haven’t been feeling well lately.” Amberlyn said dejectedly. “What’s wrong, bestie?” Larissa said, looking up, worry clouding her green eyes. Amberlyn gave a quick glance of hesitation, hung her head low and looked at the floor. “Just…how much carbs and calories was in that spaghetti we just ate?” Amberlyn asked fearfully. “…I don’t know, a lot?” replied Larissa. Amberlyn turned about 3 shades of pale and then ran into the bathroom. The noises of vomit were clearly imminent. “Want me to hold your hair?!” Larissa yelled. ----------- ------------ Jess and Jenelle walked around the vast shopping mall, various shopping bags in tow. “I think we’re good, Jen. We’ve been shopping for 4 hours. I can’t walk anymore. Not in these shoes!” Jess pleaded, sitting on a nearby bench. “You wimp. I’ve shopped for longer in higher shoes.” Jenelle teased. “Is that…Erik?” Jess asked, squinting at a nearby kiosk. “It is.” Jenelle replied. “HEY YOU! WITH THE FACE!” “Shhh, Jenelle!” Jess scrambled, covering Jenelle’s mouth with her hands. It was enough to catch Erik’s attention and he immediately spotted the two girls. Walking over casually with a shopping bag, he approached with his usual swagger. “Why hello milady…and JJ’s sister.” Erik said, cockily cocking his head to the side. “Haha, very funny prick. If you need me, I’ll be buying perfume.” said Jenelle, flipping Erik the bird while walking away. “What’s up?” Jess gleefully asked, getting up to embrace him. “Not much, just missing you. Like usual.” Erik warmly replied as he held her tightly. “I swear, you’re so sweet sometimes it’s a sin.” Jess said, cupping his face to kiss him. “I’ve been told that on occasion.” He smirked as he came forward and placed a soft kiss on her lips. She kissed back with the same force, then after a few seconds, pulled away. “I…uh, have to go…shopping.” She said bashfully. “Stay. Stay here with me for a few.” He whispered, continuing to hold her tightly, a full smirk plastered on his face behind her back. ----------- ----------- “A! Are you ready?” Larissa called, from Alanna’s kitchen. Alanna came down the stairs in a pink ruffle top, with dark gothic pants and knee-high black boots. Her hair was styled in pretty curls, and the pink on her lips made them stand out. www.polyvore.com/party_outfits/set?id=31501566“What does it look like?” Alanna retorted, cocking a eyebrow while crossing her arms. “Wow, you look great!” Larissa gushed, quickly stepping forward to touch the ruffles on Alanna’s shirt. “Duh.” replied Alanna, quickly fluffing up her hair while walking out the door. Larissa followed behind dutifully and closed the door behind her as she got into the passenger seat of Randy’s prized Bentley. “Did your dad say it was okay to take his Bentley?” Larissa asked, turning the radio on to a familiar station. “He‘s at dinner with my mom. They won‘t be back until late, so we‘ll have the Bentley back before they do.” Alanna smirked as she backed up out of the driveway. Larissa and Alanna sang along loudly to the song playing on the radio. With Alanna’s pitch perfect voice, it was baffling to Larissa why she aspired to be a professional wrestler rather than a singer. They pulled up to Jess’ small driveway around the same time a familiar green Ford Mustang pulled in. Alanna gave her hair a few quick teases and got out of the car with Larissa, again trailing closely behind. “Ms. Alanna, Ms. Alanna, you look good enough to eat…” Erik smirked as he checked her frame out from head to toe, also carrying a keg. “Get lost, creep. I’m sure your ‘girlfriend’ wouldn’t take too kindly to you flirting with me at her house.” Alanna said as she gave a Maryse hand and walked in. Listen! And Party with them!Erik followed Larissa into Jess’ house with the keg where music was blaring and strobe lights were placed all strategically all around. Erik put the keg down in the kitchen, and when he came out, he saw Jess dancing along with Jenelle and a couple other girls. He watched as they all seemed to mesh together to the music and it made his intentions all the more clear. He licked his lips hungrily, made his way through the impressive crowd and approached the dancing girls in the middle of the large living room. He quickly got behind Jess and held her. “Can I just say you look so…good, tonight?” Erik said as he whispered into Jess’ ear from behind, holding her hips steady. “You might wanna.” Jess smirked as she grinded her hips behind her to the intoxicating chorus. Erik bit his bottom lip to suppress a slight groan as he too, grinded along to the song, hands still on her hips, feeling their every movement. While the group was dancing, JJ finally made it through door, looking for a place to put his jacket down. He saw the keg fully visible in the kitchen and thought to himself, Great. I’m gonna have to be the responsible one tonight. When he turned his attention to the dancing crowd in the living room, a familiar face came in front and put their arms around his broad shoulders. “Hey…you look amazing.” JJ said, staring in awe at the lithe body in front of him. “Not as good as you.” Alanna said, placing a kiss on his neck. “You wanna dance with me?” “C‘mon A, you know I don‘t dance.” JJ shrugged, pushing the manicured hands off of his shoulders. “Please J? Pretty please?” Alanna said as she gave that irresistible pout of hers. “Fine, but I might look like an ill penguin.” JJ laughed as he was pulled into the center of the large living room with Alanna. Alanna instantly swayed and moved her body to the beat, dropping her body lower and lower, then quickly rising again to meet JJ’s eyes. “C‘mon babe…do something.” Alanna smirked, placing small, chaste kisses along his jaw line. JJ awkwardly moved his legs offbeat, trying to look somewhat decent, while Alanna’s movements seemed to be in sync with the pounding beat. Alanna threw her head back as she leaned against JJ, moving her hips in a rhythmic fashion as she tried to get him to respond the way she wanted him to. He held on to her tightly as he tried keeping up with the beat, but slowly using his footing and going offbeat again. “Hmph.” Alanna quickly gave as she stepped back and looked at JJ’s awkward movements. She scanned the room for a second, until she saw Jess and Erik dancing on the other end of the room. “You, go dance with new girl, and I‘ll dance with Erik.” Alanna loudly exclaimed over the music. “Why? Are you embarrassed of me?” teased JJ. “Babe, I love you, but you cannot dance to save your life. I need someone that can keep up with me!” Alanna loudly replied back. “Look! I can keep up!” JJ said, moving his feet faster. “Uh, no. You can‘t. I‘m sorry.” Alanna said, cocking that famous brow at him. “Fine.” JJ said, slightly defeated. Him and Alanna quickly made their way through the crowd of people and stopped in front of Jess and Erik’s dance. “We‘re trading partners if you don‘t mind.” Alanna said, cocking her head back. “Um, sure. Is that okay with you?” Jess thoughtfully asked Erik. “It‘s more than fine with me.” Erik smirked, taking Alanna’s hand and whisking her away. Jess began dancing and saw how incredibly awkward he was. She giggled and brought him closer. “A little awkward, are we?” Jess teased in his ear. “A little bit, it‘s kind of sad.” JJ said. “I think it‘s cute.” “Really?” “Yep, it makes me laugh how you can have this totally cool demeanor everywhere but when you step on the dance floor, you‘re such a goof!” “I‘m a little embarrassed now.” “Don‘t be. I like you the way you are.” She flashed him a bright smile and to his surprise, it made his heart jump a beat. To make him feel better, they both danced as awkward, despite people’s harsh glazes. Once the song was over, they both went back to their significant others. ------- ------- 2 hours later… “CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!” The crowd cheered on as Jess took a surprisingly long keg stand. She felt a tad bit woozy after being lowered to the ground. She giggled loudly and fell backwards onto Erik. “Heehee, this is sooo much fun! Haaaaa!” Jess giggled, snuggling into his shirt. Erik tipped her head and kissed her passionately, but even tipsy, she was able to kiss back with the same amount of force. “Should we head up to your room?” Erik smirked. “I bet it‘s more quiet up there.” “Sureeee. I don‘t care!” She squealed delightfully, allowing him to take her up. In a flash, he picked her up and headed for the magenta room upstairs. JJ, on the other side of the room, had been taking care of Alanna but through the corner of his eye, saw Erik take Jess upstairs. He reassured Alanna that he would be right back, and in her drunken stumble, she complied and fell backwards on the couch. He quickly darted through the drunken mess of people and ran up the stairs, hoping he wasn’t too late. He ran down the hall and kicked open the door leading to Jess’ room. “Hey man! What the hell?!” Erik exclaimed, his face full of anger and embarrassment. “What are you doing, Erik? She‘s drunk!” JJ snapped, pulling him by his collar and slamming him against the wall. “What‘s it to you, isn‘t your chick the same way downstairs?!” Erik angrily replied, trying to break out of JJ’s grasp. “I know how you work Mizanin, you‘re gonna get what you want and then leave! You always f**king do that! Jess is different! You‘ll actually hurt her!” JJ squeezed on Erik’s neck tightly. Erik just smirked in his face, signs of fear or intimidation clearly not present. JJ angrily threw Erik against the wall and began kicking him with brute force without abandon or remorse. Almost like a man possessed. There was spinning, and nausea along with the loud music drowning out the sounds of screaming and violence. How did she get here? She couldn’t see straight or walk straight for that matter. It was a dimly lit room, and she couldn’t think for the life of her. She suddenly became enveloped with this warmth, covering her and she felt what seemed to be arms wrapped around her, before she passed out… ------ ------ The next morning, Jess woke up and the familiar warmth surrounding her from the night before was still present and she shifted around, feeling her surroundings. Feeling…what felt like another body. Her eyes snapped open and she saw JJ laying next to her, snoring softly with his broad chest slowly rising and falling with each breath. She silently scrambled off the bed confused and a little scared. What happened last night? She breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Alanna’s passed out form on a nearby couch. They couldn’t have done much, but where was she? She looked around and saw black walls and she was on a Scarface themed bed. She got up and went outside, then the realization hit her. She was in JJ’s house.

Thanks a lot Annie for posting this for me and I'm really sorry for being late too. A/N: First off, I really would like to apologize for being extremely late with this update. With the few readers I have, I want you all to know I appreciate you and I have not forgotten about you. I've been swamped and confined to mostly mobile to communicate these days. I will try to update more often, and for the few readers that stick by me, thank you. I'd suggest to read the last chapter to refresh your memory and I hope you enjoy this chapter. - M ---- ---- In her drowsy haze, Jess went downstairs to look for Jenelle, hoping to find SOME answers regarding what happened last night. She opened the door under the stairs and went inside Jenelle's room where unfortunately, she was still sleeping. Jess shook Jenelle in an attempt to wake her up. It was to no avail. "Jen..." Jess groaned, holding her head. "...wake up." Jenelle responded by throwing a pillow at Jess, signaling her defiance. "Get up!" Jess yelled, a little louder than intended. "What?!" Jenelle angrily replied back, sitting up abruptly with demon eyes. "I...I need to know what happened last night..." Said Jess, worrying her bottom lip. "You got drunk, JJ brought us here, the end." Jenelle said as she plopped back down on her bed. "No, but I was in JJ's bed. We...didn't do anything, did we?" Jess asked. "I don't know, but if you did..." Jenelle said, a mischievous look appearing on her face. "SCORE!" "Ugh." Jess groaned out as she walked out of the room. Rubbing her eyes, she was making her way back upstairs until she bumped into someone. "Hey, good morning." JJ greeted her with a smile and a hug. Jess broke away quickly and looked at him uneasily. "What's wrong?" JJ asked. "What happened last night? How did I get here? Why was Alanna on the couch in your room and I was on your bed?" Jess asked, each question getting progressively louder. "Shh, Shh, SHH!" JJ said, putting his finger to Jess' lips. "Come into the kitchen, I'll tell you." JJ quietly led Jess into the kitchen and they both sat down on the stools next to the marble island in the middle of the tiled kitchen. "Well, when you got drunk, you were put in a...compromising position, and I saved you. I was planning to stay with you, making sure you were okay, but I had to take Jenelle and A home, but..." JJ explained. "But?" Jess said, crossing her arms. JJ gave a chuckle, and continued "...but I had laid you down on my bed for the time being while I was making sure my sister was okay, and I decided to rest my eyes for a second before I took A home, and I accidentally fell asleep. Hence, why you and Alanna are still here." "We didn't..." Jess said but trailed off. "Oh, no! Not at all. You're fine." JJ reassured, patting her back. "SHIT!" Alanna screamed loudly upstairs. JJ quickly ran upstairs, checking to see what happened. "Al? You okay?" JJ said, running through the door. "No! I'm dead! D-E-A-D." Alanna said, fear betraying her harsh tone. "Why?" JJ said as he brought her closer, kissing her on the head. "I...took the Bentley, and...I didn't ask, and..." Alanna said, her voice breaking up as tears began to fall. "It'll be okay. If you want, i'll take the heat from your dad." JJ offered, holding her closer, her tears soaking his muscle shirt. "You'd...you'd do that?" Alanna looked up, wiping her eyes. "In a heartbeat, because I love you. I'd do anything for you." JJ said, flashing a heart-warming smile. Alanna held onto him tightly, and gave him a quick kiss before she replied, "I love you too." Jess stood at the doorframe, silently watching, with her own heart breaking at the sight. She was stupid to believe that JJ actually had some feelings other than friendly for her. Besides, she had a boyfriend already. She quietly came into the room, picked up her phone, and left. -------- -------- When Jess got home, her head was still throbbing, the place was a mess, and she had 4 voicemails on the answering machine. Lovely. She pushed play on the answering machine, listening to it while picking up the remnants of last night's rager. "Message one." The machine spurted. The first three messages weren't for Jess, so she didn't pay too much mind to them until something caught her attention. "Hi there, this is Lily Hanson with the Hanson Modeling Agency, calling for Jessica Torres. I usually don't make personal phone calls, but I must say you would be a great asset to our agency, and I'd love it for you to call us back so we can schedule a test shoot. Thanks. (BEEP)" Jess couldn't believe it. THE Lily Hanson called and said she would be a great asset to the agency. When she sent some face shots to them, she never thought she would get a callback. She ran upstairs in quick excitement and decided to pick her outfit for her test shoot. The answering machine continued playing the last message, although the message ran out of Jess' earshot... "H-H-He-Heyy Jess! This is Cooperrrr, and just wanted to say, I found your number!!! Hahaha, but, guess what? My granpopo is sending me away to some, weird rehab thingymajig so I won't see you anymore. But I'll get out, and when I do, WE CAN BE TOGETHER! Hahaha, so byeee!" Beep. The last noise that echoed the downstairs. -------- -------- When the lock on the door carefully slid into place, they turned around and saw him there. He was clearly not amused, and his silence made him all the more intimidating. "Oh, daddy! I, uh, didn't see you there!" Alanna nervously chuckled. "Alanna..." Randy firmly yet slowly said, his gaze now locked on his daughter. "...yes?" Alanna squeaked, slightly cowering against JJ. "Do you have any idea where my Bentley is?" Randy asked, his gaze quickly directed at the floor, his tongue darting out to wet his lips while moving closer. "Y-Yes, yes sir." Alanna squeaked out, practically shrunken down. "Where is the Bentley, Alanna?" Randy said, walking methodically closer. "It's-It's, um...well..." Alanna choked out. "Where. Is. It." said Randy, with each syllable getting louder. "It's..." Alanna began. "I have it, sir." JJ interrupted, showing no fear. "You?" said Randy, now glaring at JJ. "Yes sir. I was planning on bringing it back last night but I was unable to." JJ said, still standing his ground. Randy pursed his lips together and exhaled lightly. Calmly but firmly, he said, "Alanna, go upstairs." "But daddy..." Alanna pleaded. "GO UPSTAIRS." Randy glared venomously, clenching his teeth. Alanna shot an apologetic look at JJ and ran upstairs to her room. Once up at her room, Alanna sat on her bed and pressed her knees to her chest. She silently cried and jumped a little when she heard a loud crash from downstairs. About 15 minutes later, when she could no longer hear voices from downstairs, she came down slightly and looked on. JJ was gone, but her father was still there. Randy was standing against the doorframe of the entrance, hands over his face in frustration. He exhaled deeply, and headed upstairs. Alanna ran quickly back upstairs and up to her previous position, knees huddled with her face hidden. Randy knocked on her wall. "Al?" He asked. Alanna looked up and wiped her eyes, "What?" "JJ is bringing back the Bentley, it's fully intact still, so we're good." Randy softly said, sitting at the foot of Alanna's bed. "Really? I'm so gl--" "But, you're not allowed to see him anymore." "WHAT? Daddy, you can't do that!" "Oh, I can. You will not see him anymore." "No! You can't take him from me! He's all I have!" "He stole something that didn't belong to him! I could press charges against him if I wanted to, do you understand?" "But...WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO HOMECOMING WITH NOW?" Randy looked directly at her red face and chuckled. "You're a pretty girl, I'm sure you won't have any trouble." "I hate you!" said Alanna, giving a few exasperated huffs before roughly shoving him away with all her might. "You're lucky he's John's boy OR I WOULD HAVE BEAT HIS ASS!" "NO! NO! YOU WON'T STOP ME!" "YES, ALANNA MARIE AND THAT IS FINAL!" Randy left in huff, slamming the door. With his past problems with anger, he was worried he'd say something he might regret if he didn't end it there. -------- -------- (ring, ring, ring) “Hey, you’ve reached Erik, leave a message at the tone.” “Hey Erik. It’s Jess. I was calling to see what you were doing, I hadn’t seen you since the party last night, so call me back. Love you, bye.” Jess pressed END on her phone, and exhaled deeply. She hadn’t heard from him in all day and was worried. She didn’t even know what happened to him or if he got home or anything. She waited 2 hours for a callback. Nothing. After taking a shower, she checked her phone once more. Still nothing. She tried calling his house phone but it was busy every time. After getting ready, Jess decided to go down to Erik’s house a couple blocks away to try and find out what was up with him. She grabbed the keys to her scooter, and drove over to the Mizanin estate down the street, hoping to find answers. Once she arrived at his house, she coolly knocked on the door. No reply. She looked around and all the cars were parked so she figured someone must have been home. In a second attempt, she knocked again. Nothing. Realizing that the door was unlocked, she quietly came inside the large home. "Erik?" Jess called out, the emptiness of the house creating a large echo. She called his name out over and over, hoping to get a reply until she heard a groggy noise coming from one of the bedrooms. She walked into a medium sized bedroom with black and white walls. The walls were littered with posters and the floor was covered in laundry. "Whoooose there?" Erik slowly groaned out, eyes half-lidded, clutching at his ribs. Jess quickly came to his bedside and in shock, she asked. "What happened to you?" "The party...I...was...and JJ..." Erik groaned out in pain. "What happened at the party? Tell me." Jess said, stroking his face softly. "I...I was gonna tell you I loved you...and..." said Erik, coughing violently mid-sentence. "...and JJ went crazy. He...jumped me." "Oh my gosh. Are you sure it was him?" Jess said, touching her face in shock. "Yeah..." Erik groaned, continuing to cough as he lifted up his shirt to show a large, black-and-blue bruise on his ribs. "Oh no. Erik, I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say." Jess softly replied, lightly tracing the bruise with her fingers. "Just stay away from him, okay? He may seem nice, but I don't want him hurting you either. I could...never forgive myself." Erik coughed out. "I promise, I will." Jess said, holding Erik softly against her, and silently shedding a few tears. After Jess had nursed Erik a bit, he got up and made sure she was gone. Once she had taken off down the street, he quickly ran to the bathroom and turned on the shower. Wetting his hair and letting the water fall down his body, he grabbed the loofah and scrubbed his large bruise. Within seconds, the colors of his bruise went down the drain, leaving a much smaller mark. After his quick shower, he looked at himself in the mirror. Chuckling softly, he flashed a cocky smile at himself and simply said, "Game on, bitch." ^~*Lil Niter*~^

- Chapter 9 -Monday: Homecoming WeekThe school was decorated all around for homecoming as Jess entered through the doors, books pressed firmly to her chest. She hadn't had a great weekend since she spent it taking care of Erik, and walked speedily to her locker. She opened it, put her unnecessary things inside, and when she closed it, she was met by someone standing by her locker. "Hi." said Alanna, chewing her gum, clearly annoyed. "Um, hi?" Jess said, confused. "I need you to do something for me, and you're going do to it, okay?" Alanna said forcefully, stepping in closer. "What is it?" Jess simply said. She was not in the mood for Alanna's BS. "Trade me homecoming dates." "...what? Why?" Alanna chewed on her bottom lip, and leant in closer, whispering. "My dad went completely insane and I can't be seen with JJ anymore. I need you to trade me, just so I can fool my dad. As soon as we get to the thing, we'll trade back." Jess didn't completely trust Alanna, but she decided to give in. "You sure we'll trade back?" She asked. "Absolutely." "Fine, whatever." Jess walked away in a huff, unaware what she actually agreed to, entered her History classroom and sat down, oblivious to the fact that Jenelle was sitting right next to her. "Good morning to you too." said Jenelle, taking out one earbud from her ear. "Hmph." Jess muffled, head against the desk. "Everything okay?" Jenelle said, slowly, in an mock sympathic tone. "No. Everything sucks." Jess said, lifting up her head to speak, then placing back on the desk. "Why? What's up?" said Jenelle, geninuely concerned. "...nothing. It's nothing." muttered Jess. At Erik's house, he was still getting ready, not caring that he was late for school. Angsty rock music blared through his room speakers. "Just a few more touches..." said Erik, rubbing a purple colored crayon on his ribs. " It's a good thing Dad brings home souvenirs from movie sets." Erik thought to himself, chuckling. He applied a touch of the crayon by his right eye as well. After he finished, he wrapped a large bandage around himself, feigning a slight twitch. He put the crayon back inside a box that read " Special Effects Crayons: Used for Creating Artifical Bruises, Welts, or Contusions." He put his letterman on and began limping down the stairs, out the door and into his car. Blasting his music down the street, he began en route to the school. Class was halfway done, when Jess' phone began buzzing in her pocket. She took it out and looked at the message sent her way. "From: JJ // Hey I hadnt talked to you at all this weekend after you left. How R U? "Jess rolled her eyes and looked up to see JJ looking straight at her, full smile in place. She deleted the message and sat back in her chair, not bothering to cast another glance in his direction. Soon after, Erik walked into the classroom with a grimace and his history book, heavily limping. "I'm sorry for being late, I...I had a hard time getting ready this morning." Erik panted out, clutching his ribs. "Oh my goodness, are you alright?" The teacher asked, coming to his aid. "I'll be fine..." Erik said, then directing a pained glance at JJ. "I just had a slight...altercation this weekend." "JJ? Were you involved in this?" The teacher asked audaciously. "Well..." JJ hesitated, then crossing his arms defiantly. "Yes, I was. Frankly, I don't care because he's obviously faking his pain. It wasn't even that big of a deal." "Now Erik, do you have a doctor's note or some sustainable form of proof?" said the teacher, now directed at Erik. "Yes I do, ma'am." said Erik, taking off his shirt, revealing a large bandage. "Take a look." The teacher carefully unwrapped the bandage from Erik's body, the devastating bruises fully betraying JJ's claims. A large gasp escaped the classroom as everyone directed shocked glances at both JJ and Erik. "Well Mr. Cena, since this had taken place off of school grounds, no disciplinary measures will be taken, but I will strongly advise to have you moved for first period." said the teacher, displeasure obviously present in her tone. "You can't be serious! I'm getting punished for doing the right thing? You don't even know what happened!" JJ yelled, standing up. "Please go to Mrs. McMahon's office, right now. You as well, Erik." "What? Why?" Erik asked. "Whatever." Class was dismissed soon after, and all the people rushed to get out of the crowded, awkward room. "That was interesting." Jenelle chuckled. "Yeah, I guess." Jess said, hanging her head low, leaning against her locker. "Okay, seriously. What's up with you?" said Jenelle. "...JJ's playing with my emotions, and it's driving me insane. I don't like it." said Jess, now leaning her head back. "What do you mean?" Jenelle asked, not following. "He goes and beats up Erik just because he loves me, and he hugs me and smiles, then he goes back to Alanna and says he loves her and he'd doing anything for her and I DON'T LIKE IT!" Jess said, backing off the locker and getting louder. "Shhh!" Jenelle said, walking to their next class. "He beat up Erik because Erik 'loves' you?" "Yeah, that's what Erik was telling me. I spent my entire weekend taking care of him!" said Jess, taking a deep breath and walking along with her. "No offense or anything, but I wouldn't trust a damn thing Erik says. Boyfriend or not, I don't trust anything he says." Jenelle said, raising an eyebrow. "But the bruises. You can't fake something like that." replied Jess, trailing off as she opened the door to their next class. "I doubt that JJ did it then. He's not an angry person." Jenelle said, sitting down next to an easel and picking up a brush. "Why did you transfer to this class anyway? I thought you loved to sing." Jess asked. "Meh, I've been taking music since I've been wearing Huggies. I need a change of pace." said Jenelle, turning to listen to the art teacher. ----- ----- A few hours later... "So A, what did you bring for lunch?" Larissa bubbily asked. "A caesar salad with salmon and lemon. So delish." Alanna gushed, picking up her fork and stabbing into her greens. "How about you, Amb?" Larissa asked, now looking at Amberlyn with interest. "Uhh...I brought water...and these Wheat Thins." Amberlyn said, her eyes drooping low. "You okay? You haven't bringing much lunch, and you've been really tired lately." Larissa curiously replied. "Never been better! I'm so excited for homecoming, I totes fit into my dress and everything." Amberlyn perked, suddenly full of energy. "Aren't you going with Carlos?" Alanna asked, taking a bite of her salad. "Uh huh, it's going to be ah-mazing, but um...I'll be right back, I don't feel so well." said Amberlyn, excusing herself and heading toward the bathroom. "She's had the stomach flu for like, ever now." said Larissa. "Has she seen a doctor?" "I don't think so, but I hope I don't catch it, ugh." Alanna scoffed, rolling her eyes. Across the lunch room... "So, that's why the Zombie Killer franchise is the best zombie movie series ever." said Deryn "Zombie Killer 4 was a total fail. They shouldn't have done it in 3D. Personally, I love black and white horror movies." quipped Jenelle. "I don't understand how you guys can watch scary movies. They're, well, scary!" Jess laughed. "We're just gonna have to toughen you up there, buddy." Deryn said as he nudged her with his elbow. "I agree." Jenelle said also nudging her with her elbow. "Ah man, I left my report for Biology inside the History classroom, I'll be right back guys." said Jess, getting up to walk outside. Jess walked into the dark classroom and searched for her lost paper near her desk. The blinds were shut and the lights were off, making a dim glow around the room. She was so caught up in looking for her report, she didn't even notice that someone came in and locked the door behind them. "Where is it, where is it?" mumbled Jess, still searching. "I need to talk to you." Jess jumped, and held her hand to her chest. "JJ? Geez, what do you want?" "You need to hear my side of the story. All that bullshit he told you, it's not true!" said JJ. "How do I know that? Where did those bruises come from?" Jess replied, raising her voice a little. "Shh, be quiet. Just hear me out." JJ whispered, making quieting gestures with his hands and coming closer. "I...I have to go." Jess said, trying to move past. "I have to get back to my...friends." "No, stay here. Please." said JJ, getting in her way. "Just please let me go...please." Jess squeaked, cowering a bit. "Will you just listen to me?" said JJ, raising his voice in frustation, placing his hand on Jess' shoulder, making her flinch. She was a shaking mess, on the verge of tears. "Whoa Jess, I won't hit you. Shit, I can't believe you'd think I'd hit you." JJ whispered. "If you'd hurt Erik for loving me..." Jess shakily said, still cowering a bit. "Is that what he told you? That I attacked him because he 'loved' you?" said JJ, incredulously. An awkward second went by, as Jess nervously chewed her bottom lip, not giving a reply. "Jess, I beat him because you were drunk off your ass," JJ chuckled, "...and he was planning on having sex with you!" "...no. He, he wouldn't do that." said Jess in disbelief, shaking her head back and forth. "G**dammit Jess! Are you that blind? Can't you see he's no good for you? That you deserve better?" JJ said, voice almost yelling. Jess' eyes began to water and a tear formed, falling down her face. Her feet felt like they were planted in the ground and she was unable to move. A few seconds passed before she found her voice to speak again. "Why are you doing this..." Jess murmurred lowly, until her all her frustrations finally boiled over and more tears fell, "Do you enjoy doing this to me? Making me feel this way?!" "Jess..." JJ said, moving closer to comfort her. "NO!" Jess yelled, as she swatted his arms away, more tears falling until a trail of mascara ran down her face. "Do you not get what you do to me?! When you do this shit, and you make me feel special and you comfort me, then you go back to Alanna like I don't even matter?!" "Jess...I don't mean to..." JJ trailed off, finally able to wrap his arms around her. Something in Jess snapped and she pounded her fists into his chest, trying to get him to release her. She kept hitting him, but he didn't let up, and she finally relented until she was a sobbing mess in his arms. "I'm so sorry. I honestly, don't know why...I mean, I love Alanna, with everything I have, but then there's you. You're so amazing, and I can't help but gravitate toward you, I feel like I need to be by you. You have this aura, that just makes me happy, and well, I don't know...I need you Jess. " JJ admitted, feeling the weight in his chest growing. Jess' tears finally subsided until she was only sniffling, not wanting him to let go of her, she buried her face more into his chest, listening to his hushed admissions. "Look at me." JJ simply said. Jess tilted her head up, looking deep into his eyes, finding nothing but confusion and doubt yet there was a sparkle in his eyes that showed, love? JJ leant in slowly, Jess also leaned in, lips almost brushing against one another, millimeters away, breath intermingling with breath...until Jess pulled away. "I have to go. Don't wanna be late for class." She said as she shyly pulled away, grabbed the almost forgotten paper on the desk and walked out. ----- ----- "HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!" Larissa screamed loudly. JJ heard the scream from the bathroom across the hall, and dashed out of the History classroom and into the girls' bathroom. "What happened? What's wrong?" JJ asked, becoming wide-eyed at the sight before him. "It's Amberlyn...she's not breathing..." Larissa sobbed, sitting next to her friend's body. "Stay here, I'm gonna get help." JJ said as he ran out. "C'mon Amb, stay with me, please..." said Larissa as she continued to sob. Minutes later, 911 was called, Amberlyn was resusitated and she was hauled away on a stretcher. "Is she gonna be okay?" Alanna asked the paramedic. He was young and had blond hair. "We're not sure, she has an extremely low heart rate, and her heart isn't strong enough at this point to return to a normal rate." The paramedic replied. "What's wrong with her?" Larissa asked. The young paramedic walked away for a moment, gave a hand signal and returned with another paramedic on board. He was older and had a snow white mustache. "Are you ladies close with Ms. DiBiase?" The older paramedic asked. "Yeah, we're her best friends." Alanna replied, a hint of hostility in her tone. "I'm gonna need you to come with me to the hospital. Her parents or guardians have already been alerted." said the older paramedic. "My name is Bill, by the way." "How are we getting there?" asked Larissa. "One of you can come with us in the ambluance, and the other can drive over, if possible." said the younger paramedic. "Can I have your name? I didn't get it." Alanna said, asking the younger paramedic. "Ricky." He simply replied as he got into the ambluance. "Um, I'll go in the ambluance and you'll drive, is that cool?" Larissa asked, fidgeting with her hair. "Sure, I'll meet you there." said Alanna, now running over to her car in the parking lot. ----- -----

- Chapter 10 ------- ------ "Bulimia?!" Larissa asked loudly. "That's what the doctors have told us." said Ted. "It makes sense." Alanna said, crossing her arms while chewing a piece of gum. "How?!" said Larissa, still raising her voice. "Will you be quiet?" said Alanna, "For one, she only brought crackers and water for lunch the past two weeks, and haven't you said she goes to the bathroom a lot?" "Well, yeah...but I just thought she had the stomach flu or something!" Larissa pleaded. "How long do think she'll be in here?" Alanna asked. "A couple days at most, but when she gets released, there's a rehab center in Pasadena she'll be going to." Ted replied. "Pasadena? Isn't that in California?" said Alanna. "Unfortunately, yes." Ted sighed, rubbing the back of his neck, and walking away. "Take care girls." "What are we going to do, A?! I mean, there can't be US without Amberlyn!" Larissa excitedly said, putting empaysis on "us". "Calm down, calm down! We'll just go on without her, easy as that. Besides, we'll probably just hang with her this summer." Alanna cooly said, blowing her bangs out of her face. "But...but..." Larissa stammered. "'But nothing. There's nothing we can do now. We'll write to her or something." Alanna said, walking out of the hospital. Larissa just groaned in disagreement while walking with Alanna out of the hospital. "Come now. We'll go shopping. We still need dresses." Alanna said, flipping her hair and putting her sunglasses on. ----- ----- JJ sighed deeply as he paced back and forth in his room. Alanna hadn't told him about the switch for homecoming until now, and he was worried. After his heartfelt admission in History classroom, JJ was afraid things would be awkward between him and Jess. "Knock, knock." Jenelle said, opening his door with a tray of toasted paninis. "Oh..." JJ looked up. "...hey." "Wanna panini? They're panini-tastic." Jenelle said, setting the tray on his dresser. "Uh...no. I'm-I'm good." JJ said, biting his finger. "Everything okay?" Jenelle said, now sitting on his bed and crossing her legs. "Yeah, sure." JJ said, rubbing the back of his neck. "You suck at lying, i'll have you know." Jenelle said, crossing her arms. "It's Alanna...and Jess. Confusion much." said JJ, raking his hand through his newly shaved hair. "What's to be confused about? You like Alanna, be with Alanna. You like Jess, be with Jess." Jenelle retorted. "Jess hates my guts, and I practically spilled mine." JJ sighed. "Dude. Jess does not hate your guts, she's like...madly in love with you!" Jenelle animatedly said, throwing her arms up for empaysis. "She is?" JJ said, a glimmer of excitement coming to life in his eyes. "Well, when I basically told her that I needed her, she walked away from me." "Erik." Jenelle simply said. "Erik?" replied JJ, not following. "Erik's in your way. He's got Jess brainwashed like he's this innocent, caring boyfriend." Jenelle said, standing up and pushing JJ a bit with her finger. "Want Jess? Get rid of the pretty boy." "That's the thing. I, really don't know what I want." JJ sighed once again, hanging his head low. "Good luck buddy." Jenelle shot him a sympathetic look, patted him on the back, and walked out. ----- ----- (ring, ring, ring) Restricted number. "Hello?" Eve answered. "Hi, hi, hi! Is...Jess theree?" The voice on the other end replied. "No she isn't, but I can take a message." said Eve. Dial tone. "That was odd." Eve thought. Eve went into the living room and sat down when Jess bursted through the door, full of excitement. "MOM!" Jess yelled as she ran into the living room. "What is it? What happened?" Eve asked, full of concern. "I just realized...and the thing, and I need money because well, it just hit me, and Jenelle wants to go, and eeeeh!" Jess spat out, too excited to form a sentence. "Okay, okay, calm down there missy. One sentence at a time, please." Eve said, trying to calm her excited teen. Jess took a breath and composed herself, then finally spoke. "Jenelle wants to go get dresses for homecoming, and I wanna go, and I wanted to know if I could possibly...borrow a few dollars?" "Of course you can. Let me get them for you." said Eve, getting up and walking toward her snakeskin clutch. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Jess said loudly. "Why are you so excited? It's just homecoming, and you've never been this excited to go anywhere with Erik before..." Eve said, handing Jess some money. "Um, well, you know..." Jess chuckled nervously, "...it's, a big deal! Yup, huuuuge deal." "Alright...well have fun." Eve smiled as she hugged her daughter and resumed watching TV in the living room. As soon as she was there, she dashed out and rode her Vespa to Jenelle's house, hauling full speed ahead. Once she got there, she ran up and opened the door, not bothering to ring the doorbell. "Jen!" She yelled before she ran into a familar taut chest. "Fancy meeting you like this." JJ chuckled, trying to shake off the now imminent awkward tension. "Right..." said Jess, "Uh...where's your sister?" "Jen?" JJ asked. "I think you only have one sister, JJ." Jess laughed, hitting him the chest. "Oh, her? Riiight." JJ laughed as well, "She's in her room." "Thanks." smiled Jess as she opened the door to Jenelle's room. JJ simply sighed as he watched her go in, leaning against the front door frame. "You ready, you whore?" Jess said excitedly. "Who you calling a whore, skank?" Jenelle teased, sticking her tongue out a bit. "C'mon! You got your money?" Jess said, grabbing Jenelle's arm and excitedly dragging her out of her room. "Yes, yes, now will you slow down?" Jenelle asked, pulling at Jess' grip. "Bye JJ!" Jess said quickly, slamming the front door, dragging at Jenelle. "Lemme guess, you took your afternoon meth today?" Jenelle laughed, getting on Jess' scooter. "No, I'm just excited! This is my chance, Jenelle. This is it!" Jess yelled, starting the Vespa. "What do you mean?" Jenelle said as she held onto Jess for dear life after she took off down the road. "JJ. He likes me! He really likes me! And this is my chance to capitalize!" squealed Jess. "Have you not heard of two people, I think their names are Alanna and Erik?" Jenelle quipped. "Me and JJ will get to homecoming early so I'll have time to work it!" said Jess. "You have this all figured out, don'tja?" Jenelle said, still holding on. "You don't even know the half of it." Jess beamed, the wind whipping her hair backwards. ----- ----- "Ooh, what about this one?" Jess asked, holding a shiny green dress up. "Green isn't really your color." Jenelle replied. "You think?" Jess pouted, looking at the dress before placing it on the hanger. "I already picked mine out, so hurry up! We still need to get shoes!" Jenelle said restlessly. "I can't find one! Help!" Jess pleaded, running through the racks. "Here." Jenelle said, "Take this one. It's pretty, it's your color, and it's not expensive." Jess' face made a huge "O" and she squealed with delight when she ran up to pay. "I love it!" She said with glee. "Good, now let's go get shoes. I need to find those Converse to go with this." Jenelle said, crossing her arms. "You think your brother will like it?" Jess asked. "Um, sure. Just keep in mind though, Alanna is probably gonna have some Versace or some such shit. You sure you can compete?" Jenelle retorted. "Thanks for the support, glad to hear it." Jess rolled her eyes while walking into the nearby shoe store. "Hey, i'm just being realistic." Jenelle said, throwing her arms in the air. Coincidentally, Alanna and Larissa were on the other side of the mall, shopping as well... "I like this mask, it matches." Alanna said, moving her hair out of her face and putting on the mask. "Ooooh! I like it, A!" Larissa squealed in response. "What do think of this one on me?" "It makes your forehead look way too big." said Alanna, raising an eyebrow. "I'm confused." Larissa said, putting the mask back on the shelf. "About what?" Alanna said, scrolling through her phone, leant against one of the pillars in the store. "Are you going to homecoming with Erik or JJ?" asked Larissa. "I'm leaving my house with Erik, but I'm going to be at the dance with JJ." Alanna said, looking up from her phone, "Good plan, right?" "Yeah, sure." Larissa said hesitantly, twirling her hair. ----- ----- "Oh, Senor JJ. You look as my mother would say, muy guapo!" One of the maids commented as JJ tried on suit in his walk-in closet. "You think so, Marisol?" JJ said, tightening his tie and looking in the mirror intently. "Oh si, si, si! Is there anything I can get for you?" The maid gushed. "No, no. I'm good. Thank you." JJ smiled as he waved her off. For a few more moments, JJ continued looking at himself at different angles in the mirror. "Friday night. I'll be just you and me." JJ said, smiling into the mirror.
